FREE_DEVELOPMENT I used this a couple times, and now my computer (13" MacBook Pro 2009) always goes to hibernation even when I do not hit the widget. How can I turn it back so my computer only goes into normal sleep when I close the lid? (Version 1.2)

HandBrake Lite | Jul 24 2009 |
FREE_DEVELOPMENT I still have yet to use it, and I still am not a fan of the cartoony icon, but I must say that the sippy cup, instead of the martini glass, for the lite version makes me laugh. (Version 1.1)

Apple Safari | Jul 10 2009 |
FREE_DEVELOPMENT I love Safari, but since the Beta, in the final version, did Apple take away the Safari Web Apps? Can I still make them with another program? (Version 4.0.2)

FREE_DEVELOPMENT I have a file to load in licenses from MacHeist, but AppShelf is not recognizing the file. Do I need to rename it? when I try to open it in APpshelp, the open option is grayed out. (Version 1.1.1)

ANDREW SCOTT This worked for me: go to File/Import/From file… and select the "MacHeist Serials.appshelf" file. If it's working you should see all of your bundle apps listed in AppShelf. Very nice. (Version 1.1.1)

TwoUp | Mar 19 2009 |
FREE_DEVELOPMENT I was first skeptical of this software because I didn't see an issue with just resizing windows by hand, but the more I use this program, the more I like it. My only issue is the menu icon. I try to keep my menu as clean as possible, and I am wondering if you could write the program to disable the menu icon and just have the key commands? If that is not possible, could you make a better icon? Even two rectangles might look nice.

IRRADIATED SOFTWARE I have a hidden preference to disable the menu bar icon, see the topic here: http://getsatisfaction.com/irradiatedsoftware/topics/option_to_not_have_an_icon_appear_in_the_menubar (Version 1.0.2)

FREE_DEVELOPMENT I appreciate the link, but I do not understand how to use the terminal very well. How do i implement this? What do I type in? Thank You (Version 1.0.2)

TwoUp | Mar 23 2009 |
IRRADIATED SOFTWARE No problem, launch Terminal.app and paste this text exactly as it appears: defaults write com.irradiatedsoftware.TwoUp HideMenu -bool YES Then press Enter (return) to execute the command. You won't get any feedback to know if this worked correctly. Then you need to quit and restart TwoUp. If you still see the menu bar icon, you know the Terminal command didn't work. Let me know how it goes (or contact me directly via my support page) (Version 1.0.2)

Bubble Bazinga | Mar 14 2009 |
FREE_DEVELOPMENT Great game, and yes VERY addicting. the game has a few glitches. First off it will not load completely most of the time. Only the top 75% loads, and I have to close the widget, and reopen it to have it work again. Secondly, the canon gets stuck sometimes. Most of the time I catch it, and if I move the mouse off the widget for a few seconds and then back on, it fixes itself, but sometimes I do not notice and shoot a bubble in the wrong place. Question: Sometimes only two rows of bubbles appear, and sometimes four. Why does that change? Also, is it possible to make the program remember your own high score and not log into an internet database? Lastly, could you make it, it's own program? I hate having to open all my widgets just to play the game, and not be able to do other things at the same time without going in and out of dashboard.

Mac Products Icons | Jan 29 2009 |
FREE_DEVELOPMENT Please go back and reedit the images. majority of them have white outlines, especially the MacBook. Also, the images you used are not very smooth (try using images at least 512x512 to begin with. I don't like giving bad review to icons, but these seem very rushed, and poorly done. Try adding shadows as well. thank you. (Version 1.0)

WeatherDock | Jan 27 2009 |
FREE_DEVELOPMENT I have used weather dock for years now, and love it. All of a sudden it has stopped appearing in my menu bar when I turn on my computer. After I click on the icon, it will reappear, but disappear shortly after that. Yes I do have the menu icon enabled, and the automatic open on login. I am using 10.5.6 as well on a new macBook (Version 2.5.1)

MACUPDATE ADMIN Try deleting its pref's file, it is named nl.alwintroost.WeatherDock.plist Of course, you'll need to reset your prefs after deleting its .plist file. (Version 2.5.1)

FREE_DEVELOPMENT Still the same response... I am wondering if it may be because it takes some time for the internet to connect. My university just got wireless, and it takes about a minute for everything to register on the network. (Version 2.5.1)

FREE_DEVELOPMENT I love this app and use it every day. I have one problem though. Whenever I try to insert a photo, nothing shows up, and sometimes makes other things disappear. I've tried dragging and dropping, as well as going to edit>insert>picture. Please help (Version 2.0.4b)

HAMPST Hi FREE_DEVELOPMENT Bean does allow you to add images, but not with all file types. You can use "Save As..." to select a file type that handles images. i haven't tried them all, but the .rtfd extension does allow images to be included in the document. (Version 2.0.5b)

Bean | Jan 25 2009 |
FREE_DEVELOPMENT Thank you. I was saving everything as .rtfd before. (Version 2.0.5b)

Bean | Jan 26 2009 |
How frustrating for you. I just experimented by inserting images in several formats (pict, jpeg, png, pdf) by using both the Insert command and drag and drop method. The resulting document (.rtfd) displayed correctly in Bean and other text editors. I should say that I am using the latest non-beta version of Bean and OS X 10.5.6. (Version 2.0.5b)

Bean | Jan 27 2009 |
JNRH My suggestion is: turn off layout view (View > Hide Layout), then resize the image down to a smaller size (double-click image to reveal resizing sheet). A large image combined with line spacing greater than 1 can cause the problem you describe to happen (it happens in Text Edit too). Alternatively, if you sandwich an image with two Returns, line spacing goes down to 1 and the image will show up. HTH (Version 2.1)

FREE_DEVELOPMENT The app loads up fine, but for 99% of the contacts, nothing gets downloaded from Facebook. I know the names work because I have used AddressBookSync with it to load all the photos earlier. Please help, I am running the latest 10.5.6 OS (Version 2.2)

SAMSOFTWARE Alright, the icon I can fix easily. as for clicking on it, if you click and hold, a menu will pop up which you can then move the mouse up until you reached the desired option, then release the mouse. This is something I cannot change, it is built directly into the Mac OS. As soon as I can sort out my computer problems: 1) external drive that has everything backed up on after my computer stopped working, just died, need to ghost it. 2) needs a new fan for the hard drive then I will get to replacing the icon. (Version 1.5)

SAMSOFTWARE Yeah, no problem. For future reference, please also post on the forum at my website. http://samsoftware.110mb.com because I check there more often than I do here, it was just a coincidence I happened to see your post quickly. (Version 1.5)

Schoolhouse | Nov 7 2008 |
FREE_DEVELOPMENT I used this program for about one semester, but I must take it out of my dock. The program is very well written, and looks great, but does not have all the features that it should. It works as a VERY simple word processing program, and file managing application. I am not using Schoolhouse anymore because I wish the note taker was i bit more advanced, such as the program Bean. As for the file organizer, I wish Schoolhouse would open files such as PDFs, DOCs, and others in the program itself, and not have to open other apps. Because of that, I am just going to take notes on Bean, ands organize the files in folders in Finder. If those changes are made I will be using this program again. Thank you for the great work so far (Version 2.1)

FREE_DEVELOPMENT Works great. I have a laptop so I do not have to worry about the menu burning the screen but i do feel like I can pay more attention on windows that are open. The menu fading in and out is a nice touch as well. Although this is a simple application, I will always be using it now that I tried it. One comment... if you could make the icon hidden it would be perfect. I just changed the Icon to something that looks cool. Other then that it is great (Version 1.1)
