Apple Safari

FREDASH  Installed on an iMac Core Duo 2ghz running under Mac OS X 10.5.7.

Runs perfectly well. I had no input managers installed.

Top sites needed approx. 1 minute to finish his initialisation work.

After that, Safari 4.0 runs absolutely **blazingly fast** !

Kudos Apple for this very good browser.

Boinx FotoMagico

FREDASH  And another FotoMagico 3.0 super hyper expansive upgrade version !!! :-D

I recall that all the fools that bought the FotoMagico PRO 2.0 version (yes the 'PRO' one...) must now PAY the same price that the 'normal' Express verion users !

This is a steal and very POOR CONSIDERATION for their PRO users!!!

VERY disapointed by their PRO upgrade price policy.

Transmission

*****

FREDASH  Transmission 1.70 is by far the best update released yet !

Before i had some troubles with some slowness of my internet connection while using Transmission, as well as slowness when quitting the app.

Now, Transmission is able to Download and Upload at full speed without distrubing my internet connection and while i am browsing the web. This update really rocks !

Just keep up the good work, Transmission team !

FREDASH  Hi, i totally agree with your point of view.

you should write to Boinx and tell them what you think about their upgrade price policy.

That's what i have done.

89$ to upgrade is way too high.

FREDASH  That's exactly what i've done. I contacted them 2 weeks ago to tell them that their upgrade price for PRO users was way too high.

I just won't upgrade until they change this price policy.

FREDASH  I second all of this comment.

FotoMagico is a good product that i use regularly.

But as a previous 2.X PRO User who paid the PRO price, i totally disagree with the Boinx FotoMagico upgrade policy that makes EXPRESS users effectively paying LESS than PRO users to upgrade to new 3.X PRO Licence !

So, I will wait for a moficiation of the 2.X PRO --> 3.X PRO licence price.

JollysFastVNC
Dec 11 2008

FREDASH  This 0.96.70 version can now handle the automatic input of password protected SSH keyrings. In one word : It works very very well now even with SSH Tunneling.

I can now trash "Chicken of The VNC" and use this very good VNC client for my everyday Linux server connection.

Congratulations for such a good software !

JollysFastVNC

FREDASH  Hello,

All is working very well excepting for the SSH feature with a password-protected key, the current version of JollysFastVNC apparently cannot enter the password.

Apart from this problem, this product works very well.

Keep up with the good work !

Fred.
