The most obvious answer would be that time is a very valuable resource, and spending $5 on atPeek, which organizes apps, and their assets, will save you the time you otherwise have to spent using currently available free tools, especially when it comes to uncrushing iPhone Png images and Pvr textures. You can recover the crushed Png and Pvr textures for an entire app with just one click.

Can you show me how Automator can uncrush iPhone PNG image, something that atPeek does?

Or how can Automator decode compressed PVR texture, something that atPeek does as well?
