FONZO  BEWARE!

I installed LCC 2.4 on my office machine, a Powermac G4 1GHz with 10.4.11 and connected a cordless Logitech Mouse. Installation went fine, the mouse worked well. But then: I wrote a Newsletter in Word 2004 (v11.3) by overwriting an older document, saved the file under the same name and wondered that there was no message about replacing the older file. When opening the new file I found, that nothing of the new text was saved, it was still the old document. This could be reproduced: Overwriting, saving (no warning message about replacing), closing, reopening, changes gone. Incredible! So, I remembered the recently installed LCC and removed every single piece of the SW (there was plethora, scattered all over the systems folder) i could find and restarted the computer. BANG! The text files appeared WITH all the changes I had made and saved. There is something seriously wrong with this release of LCC.

FONZO  Again me. It's now more than 9 month since we saw an update for this app. There is plenty of room for improvement. It is really disappointing to see, how this application is neglected by its developpers. C'mon boys, wake-up!

FONZO  This application doesn't seem to work with non-english versions of Entourage (X and 2004). It looks like the program doesn't find the path to the E-Mail folder.

FONZO  Compared to Scrivener, this app is a joke. Everybody who is doing serious writing should get Scrivener – this app really sets a new standard in the Creative Writing field.

FONZO  Disappointed by the long delay of the german cocoa version of TS i gave it a bad rating. In the meantime the german version finally is at 3.4.2. The program itself is very good and the support of the german guy taking care of the localized TS version has been very responsive. Under this angle, my original rating is no more appropriate and I have to correct it by giving TS 5 stars. (A proper rating would be 4 stars, because the price is a bit steep.)

FONZO  Doesn't work here. Install process went fine, but every time i drag a program on the AppDelete icon, i get the following message: -Drag the application you want to delete onto the AppDelete icon!-

Which is exactly what i am doing... this app isn't ready for release.

FONZO  This is a solid application. Unfortunately it hasn't evolved for quite some time now, thought there is plenty of room for improvements. Hope they get this back on track.

FONZO  I use the german version of this SW for years now. the product ist ok, but support is a joke. The german version today (september 06) is still at 2.8.8. The guy in Germany who is responsible for the localization just doesnt't care. He promised an update several times but didn't keep hes word.

FONZO  Straight forward, easy to use. The developer is very responsive. I asked for a feature and had a beta half an hour later... Great!
