FLYING ACE Excellent App! My GPS tracker arrived in the mail today, and I went out for a quick drive to see how it all worked. When I got back home, I fired up the software that came with the tracker and was confronted with a bewildering array of options. Sat down with the software for an hour trying to work it out, and I just got sick of it. I jumped on MU and came across this little gem. Load the log file, import the images, and it's all placed into iPhoto within seconds! Couldn't be easier, and it will make my upcoming 9 week trip to Europe a much more enjoyable experience! FLYING ACE A little expensive, but a great app nonetheless. It actually encouraged me to plan my finances. It's not for high-power users, nor does it pretend to be. An excellent app. (Version 1.0.3)

FLYING ACE Been working flawlessly now for a few days. I like the small little enhancements they've added, really great. (Version 3.0b)

FLYING ACE It's a bit misleading when you say "Demo product is free for non-commercial use". It still has a 1024 x 1024 limitation which I didn't see mentioned anywhere, except after I had downloaded it and tried it on a larger image. (Version 4.3)

VLAD-NEATIMAGE The size limitation is specified in featuremap: http://www.neatimage.com/mac/featuremap.html The size limitation still allows to use the filter on any selected region of of interest in the image. Anyway, thank you for the comment. We will add one more link to the featuremap to make that limitation more clear.

XENOPHILE If there's a limitation on the software that is removed upon purchasing a registration, then by definition it is not "freeware". WTF is the matter with you? (Version 4.7)

FLYING ACE I love it. It's simple enough for what I do (just downloading one or two torrents a week) and looks good too. (Version 0.71)

FLYING ACE It's a real pity that this doesn't get updated more often. It has the opportunity to become great, but because of the ridiculous amount of time between betas it's losing out. (Version 2.0b2)

FLYING ACE Fantastic. Something that should be built into the Finder! More options for setting the amount of darkness would be good though :) Looking forward to revisions. (Version 1.0)

MagiCal | Jan 6 2007 |
FLYING ACE "It features a huge range of configuration options for how the time and date are displayed" Now this is a bit of an exaggeration - I could only find half a dozen parameters to change. The default Apple menubar clock has more options you can change. (Version 1.0)

DEMOSTHENES I believe that the time format options on MagiCal far exceed the options available in the Apple clock. If there is an option or feature that you require that is not provided, please submit a feature request via the web site. (Version 1.0)

FLYING ACE I've tried DL many times, and everytime I just give up. It regularly won't find titles for me, despite them being well known movies, such as Lost in Translation, etc etc. It's also quite slow on my system, a 2GHz iMac G5. Would also be nice to have a choice of shelves - not a huge fan of wooden shelves. (Version 1.6.4)

FLYING ACE Fantastic. Best clock saver out there! I set the hands to red, the dial to black so all I see are the hands and it looks fantastic. Does one thing only, but it does that one thing better than any other... Excellent! (Version 1.0.4)

FLYING ACE I just got an iPod Video, and eager to convert my Friends episodes to iPod format, and couldn't! Apparently .ogm is a very difficult format to convert :( Anyone know of any simple solutions that don't involve multiple programs? (Version 1.5)

FLYING ACE Fantastic! Makes setting the desktop so easy. Does one thing and does it well. Some people will always want things to do more and more, but I say keep it simple. Excellent work, one of my favourite finds this year! (Version 1.0)

NYMPHE is there any way to use any album art utility with the music bibliothek in the ipod? I have been looking for a utility, which can synchronisethe album covers in ipod... (Version 1.0.7)

Album Art Thingy | Sep 17 2006 |
JIM RIBS itunes 7 can add album art from the itunes music store and your ipod should synch your cover art for you. (Version 1.0.7)

NYMPHE unfortunately, I don't have an itms account, in my country, itms doesn't exist. secondly, my archive is on my ipod, so on my harddisk, I don't have so much music. Album Art Thingy is really great, but it cannot see my ipod music library. :( (Version 1.0.7)

FLYING ACE Really nice idea, I'm not a fan of the colour scheme or graphics though. Something a bit more Apple-like would look astounding. And perhaps the option to increase/decrease the size would be beneficial too? Great start, and would be nice to see it mature :) (Version 1.2.1)

FLYING ACE I love this little app, however the best time to actually look at it is dawn/dusk and night. In the daytime the colouring especially for where I am in Australia is way off. Right now the top of xSkyDesk is almost black, but outside it's a very light blue. Perhaps some tweaking of the colouring is needed? But other than that a great little thing :) (Version 1.3.6)

FLYING ACE The 5 minute demo only affects flying with the joystick, you can fly for as long as you want using the autopilot. And the 5 minute demo is a lot more than MSFS gives you. (Version 8.5b4)
