FLOUNDER  Wow... The magic mouse multitouch surface is a direct extension of the multitouch trackpad and as such any developer would be expected to implement the same type of gestures as the multitouch trackpad.

I paid for and used mouse zoom for a few days, not nearly as good as this app. Although the UI could use some work, and the window could respond to a cmd-W to close it. But I feel that this one is way better than mousezoom

FLOUNDER  While I like Everplay, I feel a few shortcomings are in it.

If for some reason iTunes is open the hotkeys will not interact with iTunes. so if you are listening to something in iTunes and then try to use the hotkeys you will have a different track playing though everplay, a little annoying. I would like to see everplay control iTunes when iTunes is open and if not then revert to the default behavior

Also I would like to see the plugin type for desktop cover art. I'm not a big fan of the default styles and would love to see a plugins like bowtie and ecoute.

FLOUNDER  The original Photo Desktop was great, allowed me to do what I wanted with out a single photo taking up the entire desktop. PD2 is even better with the many new options such as picture type it lets you select from standard, widescreen, portriat, etc.

Also the idea behind photosets that allows you change groups of photos on the fly depending on your mood is also great.

After being a fan of the original for so long I was excited to see a new version come out. Although the old version was free I feel like the cost is justified for the new version which is why I forked over my cold hard cash within 10 min of trying out the new version.

I hope the dev keeps up the good work.

FLOUNDER  Ok I'm thoroughly pissed. I tried to use yep and when I first ran it it told me it would index all my PDF's what it didn't tell me was that it would automatically move them. But I don't want to have all my PDF's indexed I want the option to tell it stop let me tell you where to look and not just applying a blanket smackdown on all my documents.

While the idea of yep is good however by forcing a user to automatically index them all is not cool. I hope the dev's change this in future versions as I've now lost about 2 hours trying to put everything back in its place.

The 2nd option is when in list view to not view the extensions of the files. I know they are all pdf's. Why should my list say that as well?

FLOUNDER  I am wondering I can set up an automator workflow (Even save it as a plugin for the finder so I have it as a contextual menu item) So what is the difference between using a automator workflow than using this app? They both are able to accomplish the same thing or am I off base here?

FLOUNDER  I love this app and have been waiting for something like it for a long LONG time. I hate it when I move my windows away from the center and over time this happens either by accident or on purpose. But now with Zooom I have the ability to align all my windows to the spots I want. It helps me center or off center my windows so that everything is in proportion. I don't really use the resize ability much however magnetics is what sells me this app. I love it

FLOUNDER  While the dev doesn't much speak about the app and leaves its users to wonder what is going on. However since it was updated to be a universal binary which shows the dev working on it. It is a good app. No need to clutter your documents folder with items that you are working on but don't want to fire up word for. A simple no obtrusive text editor is great.

I think its better than text edit because it allows you to keep all of your documents in the side bar without having to search for other documents to open if you need them.

FLOUNDER  Sweet I love this app... its better than using a picture as the desktop picture. How ever I would just like the ability to either change the borders of the pictures or change the size of the borders while retaining the size of the picture.

FLOUNDER  I love this app. I have been using it since the 10.2 or 10.1 days... so long I don't remember. However This has alot more functionality than the built in cmd-tab switcher that apple added with tiger.

It makes it easier to force quit apps, show and hide apps and even allows you to prevent some apps to be shown in the switcher. I prefer this to the OS X built in switcher anyday.

FLOUNDER  While I was critical of the app before since it was such a long time since it was last updated but it's finally moving and I congratulate the author on a fine job of the .4b3 version. I can't wait to see what they have in store for the final version. I just hope I don't have to wait for another year.

FLOUNDER  Now I've been using synergy for years, how long I can't remember but when synergy advance came out I thought it looked promising. But I think the development of it is stalled since there have been no updates since july of 05 and when his road map had said that it would have been completed in Nov of 05. I emailed the developer in the middle of Jan and he said a new release version was coming out soon after a maintence release of synergy but it hasn't come out yet over a month later.

I have paid for both synergy and synergy advance and I would buy another license for synergy advance if it would encourage the developer to continue developing but now I have serous doubts about it. Although menuet has come out and I like their product I would prefer to have synergy advance released to a 1.0 version and out of beta testing.
