FGS Same here, I really start to regret to have payed for the Leopard upgrade.... I can't see why there is a Dock Icon now present, and that I don't have the possibility to not show the Dock Icon. I downgrade to Version 3.0.6. PS: I also send an email to the developer yesterday, but no reply yet. (Version 3.1)

FGS thanks for those ideas, but when I use your terminal command on the icns file (for ex. iPod Silver) I get "error, not valid file". When using the SW you stated, I can save the file, but still not a possibility to copy/paste the icon later on.

When doing Apple+I, they only show the preview, but not the Icon graphic on the upper left corner (so not possible to do copy/paste).

MORJOVY you can use Sips utility in terminal sips -i users/alexey/desktop/imac.icns (write your path to existing file instead of mine). this works with files of most graphic formats you will get an icon which you can copy/paste (Version 1.0)

MORJOVY or try this free GUI: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/22759/fasticns (Version 1.0)

MORJOVY both varriants work great, maybe you do something wrong ;-) if you dont like terminal, use FastIcns: there you will see the rotaing cube, drag a file on it, then double-click and choose "resource fork of a file" (Version 1.0)

FGS Doesn't work with PowerBook G4 15". After installation, the Program cannot be launched (as if it not compiled for PowerPC's...) (Version 1.3.1)

MACUPDATE ADMIN I downloaded it and examined the package contents, you are correct, the application is not compiled for PPC. A GetInfo command issued against the application reveals that it is Intel only at this time. (Version 1.3.1)

FGS Hum, seems that you might need some glasses. Also, it is freeware, so nobody "forces" you to download and use it... and anyway: If you can do it better, then just do it. This app works as described and rocks for a freeware dmg packer.

I just tried to write an email to "Dear Mr. Goldstein" (looks like he is the only Dude there working, because "support@codetek.com" is the same email address in the end as his...) and I almost loughed loud when I instantly after sending the mail got an error reply from his postmaster.... the email account is not anymore active! Great news! For all of you waiting... like me... keep waiting as now I am almost certain that this product is dead (and 40 $ lost). Also, people which are still using PPC, watch out with Adobe CS3 products cause the bindings are not working correctly with VirtueDesktop Pro 3.2. Version 4 looks to be "Vaporware". Really a sad story, such a great prodcut now depreciated. (Version 3.2)

BRUCE_Y True that Skype home page is back to saying the Official release is January's 1.4.0.35 I just saw on MacFixIt that there were bugs which caused them to pull it. "Universal binary version of Skype pulled due to bugs Earlier this morning, a new version of Skype -- which uses P2P (peer-to-peer) technology share audio chats with other users of the software -- was posted, with added support for Intel-based Macs as a Universal binary. That release, version 1.4.0.39, has now been pulled due to some serious bugs that precluded launching on some Intel-based Macs." (Version 1.4.0.39)
