IF this application loaded English text, instead of French text - in the explanatory window - it would be more useful to so many users.

I even deleted the French (.lproj) resources, but to no avail, as the appl. accesses an online data base.

You say: "Can I do something to fix it?"

I think that all you need to do is use the "port forwarding" option with you router; though turning on "DMZ" may be required too.

I love BG Blitz.

There is simply nothing near its level for Macs.

"Absolute Backgammon" is just for casual players.

THIS is for those who wish to IMPROVE their game, taking it to a new level.

I have played in tournaments across the USA between 1985 and 2006. I know of what i speak, and I have the trophies to prove it.

The current version (2.0.2) is priceless. It is beyond a Five Star production. Its feature set and ease of use are matchless. Along with Disc Warrior4.1, it is the only software utility that I suggest to my Mac consulting clients. NOTE: This is far preferable to TechToolPro, which looks great but has absolutely unreliable hardware tests.

A reviewer below obviously does not know how to properly burn a bootable Mac disc. (He probably tried to burn the disc with the image mounted. That is the most common mistake.

Excellent productivity enhancer.

Running a 24/7 File Server means that I shuffle about a LOT of files.

I combine this with "One Finger Click" and "Lazy Mouse" This troika means that with one finger and one click I am moving folders / files with ease.

Newest added feature is a very fine addition to the feature set.

Excellent training tool / resource for Texas Hold Em (only)

The interface needs to be resizable and customizable. It isn't.

Poker Ghost's value is derived from the ease with which you can set up a hand and vary the number of opponents.

Speech Recognition is a nice added bonus.

I suppose that the problem that i am experiencing is simply that I do not see what the purpose of this application is.

In Apple System Profiler one can goto Software > Applications and generate a list of installed applications.

Can I launch an application from Appster?

I see no way to do that.

Is there a FAQ or documention available anywhere? I think not.

Some features are accessible via Leopard Cache Cleaner, Terminal, Clix, MacPilot, etc. BUT not all.

The computer players are supposed to be using A.I. The play is bad - absolutely beyond belief.

All experienced tournament poker players like myself and every author on the subject knows that to bet MINIMAL amounts on strong hands in a tournaments is almost NEVER correct, with the exception of "slow-playing" a hand.

This absurd game even has computer players "closing out" the betting by checking the nuts or calling "All In" with hand s that CANNOT win.

I want my money back. I feel cheated. There is no point playing.

There is NO option to play "no-limit" cash Hold Em either. "Limit" only.

Normal tournaments are always played with 10 entrants. Not here. Not possible.

You cannot play a normal tournament or a "sit-and-go"; just this tiresome silly television format.

Tech support? Virtually none.

iPoker is far far superior in every way.

Extremely limited re: file types.

I can see no weay to delete / add file types.

It seems to me that it should be obvious that searching with Spotlight is far better than this; and more importantly the "Smart Folder" feature introduced with "Tiger" (OS X 10.4) will do a better job than this will re: organizing your files by type or task or any other criteria you can imagine -- and of course it is totally free and bug free !

This is the best software update in recent memory.

It is obviously the software of the year and the year just began. Nothing will surpass it. The question is:

Is Toast 8 the software of the decade? Perhaps.

The list of new features is awesome, the interface is handsome, friendly as can be.

the online Help is not only completely rewritten, but now it really can teach you much of what you need to know in a hurry.

A few minutes ago I burned about 200 MP3's to a single CD. In the past there was a 99 MP3 limit.

I also backed up some data - and now you can easily apply a color or an image to the background when the disc opens in icon view.

etc. etc. etc.

From the engineering standpoint, it is best that Hard Drives NEVER go through a restart. Spinning down to a "sleep" mode, where it still spins, albeit at a slow rate. is good.

I have several Macs. I strive not to turn any of them off ever - unless I am going to be out of town for a week or more, essentially never.

I do a little Mac consulting. In the 909's i was the Prez' of an Apple Chartered M.U.G. (Mac User Group) for several years. I have been a Mac Fanatic / Evangelist since 1985, though an Apple II user prior to that.

Serious incompatability with Leopard (OS X 10.5)

It may be a conflict with the new feature - 'Spaces'.

The first module that I tried blanked my display  and would not restore my screen no matter what I tried; eventually forcing me to shut down inelegantly.

Will not accept my choice of NOT having an Admin's Password on my MacBook ~ rendering it completely useless to me.

I run a gaggle of Macs. This appl' seems to be most at home on my MacBook. It works very well but it does require a reading of the manual. It has outperformed all of the competition but for SpamSeive2.4.4 with which it runs a virtual tie.

This is fabulously wonderful.

The less screen real estate that you have, the more its intrinsic worth.

I just bought a 13" MacBook and cannot install Sticky Windows. It isn't Intel - compatible !

Apple should buy this technology from the developer and roll it into the O.S.

I am a "Mail" user now -- but I used EudoraPro for over a decade, up until version 6.1

It has features that are absent elsewhere and a mind-boggling collection of user-alterable settings that are known as X-commands.

It has a funky old-fashioned less-than-pretty interface, but it is the ultimate email application.

A particular aspect that I always loved is the complex "rules" that you can use for filtering mail which permit oh-so-many options; e.g. read me the subject line of this particular email.

Looks dangerous naturally enough, but there ios NOT a single word of HELP or DOCUMENTATION or PREFERENCES. Going to the developer's website provides only an ad for consulting services. Maybe they will give you a discount if they repair your Mac following it getting hosed by this questionable appl'

Will not download.

SpeedDownload3 identifies the cause as "corrupt executable"

Over the past 2 days I have downloaded this Demo times.

It will not mount.

In every case the .dmg was declared corrupted when it failed verification via Disk Utility.

Excellent ~ when it works.

I am getting a rapid response re: tech support, so hopefully the bugs will be squashed soon.

Absurd:

A great interface with some glaring egregious faults:

The only volume that is accessible is my Boot Drive, not any partitions or other Hard Drives.

That alone renders this appl' useless.

Also, the toolbar cannot be configured, so you are stuck with having icons there for utilities that you may not use.

There is mno on;line or documented HELP !

To the best of my knowledge and searching efforts there is no such application as Norton Commander for Macs

$99 A Bad Joke. Not worth a tenth of that.

This software is slow and almost useless.

Interestingly, the developer's brief note on this site indicates that it MAY work under Tiger.

It fails. It just "says" that it succeeds in sending the email.
