I think that all you need to do is use the "port forwarding" option with you router; though turning on "DMZ" may be required too.

Type: ReviewDate: 19 Apr 2008 17:29I love BG Blitz.
There is simply nothing near its level for Macs.
"Absolute Backgammon" is just for casual players.
THIS is for those who wish to IMPROVE their game, taking it to a new level.
I have played in tournaments across the USA between 1985 and 2006. I know of what i speak, and I have the trophies to prove it.

Type: ReviewDate: 11 Apr 2008 07:26The current version (2.0.2) is priceless. It is beyond a Five Star production. Its feature set and ease of use are matchless. Along with Disc Warrior4.1, it is the only software utility that I suggest to my Mac consulting clients. NOTE: This is far preferable to TechToolPro, which looks great but has absolutely unreliable hardware tests.
A reviewer below obviously does not know how to properly burn a bootable Mac disc. (He probably tried to burn the disc with the image mounted. That is the most common mistake.

Type: ReviewDate: 19 Mar 2008 15:18I have used uCalendar for years.
It is quite good in all respects.
However, the price is twice what it is worth, BECAUSE the free iCal has some truly excellent features, especially the current version - 3.0.2

Type: ReviewDate: 7 Feb 2008 09:27Excellent productivity enhancer.
Running a 24/7 File Server means that I shuffle about a LOT of files.
I combine this with "One Finger Click" and "Lazy Mouse" This troika means that with one finger and one click I am moving folders / files with ease.
Newest added feature is a very fine addition to the feature set.

Type: ReviewDate: 7 Feb 2008 09:07Excellent training tool / resource for Texas Hold Em (only)
The interface needs to be resizable and customizable. It isn't.
Poker Ghost's value is derived from the ease with which you can set up a hand and vary the number of opponents.
Speech Recognition is a nice added bonus.

Type: ReviewDate: 30 Jan 2008 11:00I suppose that the problem that i am experiencing is simply that I do not see what the purpose of this application is.
In Apple System Profiler one can goto Software > Applications and generate a list of installed applications.
Can I launch an application from Appster?
I see no way to do that.
Is there a FAQ or documention available anywhere? I think not.

Outstanding graphics.
Some features are accessible via Leopard Cache Cleaner, Terminal, Clix, MacPilot, etc. BUT not all.
This is an exceptionally attractive and user friendly GUI.
I prepaid for it and I am glad that I did.
So far, the only glitches I've found concern notifications re: computer temperature and disk space.

Type: ReviewDate: 16 Dec 2007 19:09The computer players are supposed to be using A.I. The play is bad - absolutely beyond belief.
All experienced tournament poker players like myself and every author on the subject knows that to bet MINIMAL amounts on strong hands in a tournaments is almost NEVER correct, with the exception of "slow-playing" a hand.
This absurd game even has computer players "closing out" the betting by checking the nuts or calling "All In" with hand s that CANNOT win.
I want my money back. I feel cheated. There is no point playing.
There is NO option to play "no-limit" cash Hold Em either. "Limit" only.
Normal tournaments are always played with 10 entrants. Not here. Not possible.
You cannot play a normal tournament or a "sit-and-go"; just this tiresome silly television format.
Tech support? Virtually none.
iPoker is far far superior in every way.

The Font Inspector is a quick access feature that I like.
Running under Rosetta, on a macBook, I have found one serious bug. viz. I attempted to import calendars from iCal and from uCalendar. It fails and generates a confusing error message re: use of" parentheses"

Each time I insert a bootable DVD to clone an OS from, (including my original System Install DVD), it produces an odd error as it freezes. The error is "authentikill" I have no clue as to what that is.
I am obliged to force-quit DasBoot at that point.
The on-line help for DasBoot is missing.
I have indeed seen what TechTooPro2Go can do, albeit it at a high price.

Type: ReviewDate: 5 Feb 2007 10:01Cumbersome and cluttered interface.
Extremely limited re: file types.
I can see no weay to delete / add file types.
It seems to me that it should be obvious that searching with Spotlight is far better than this; and more importantly the "Smart Folder" feature introduced with "Tiger" (OS X 10.4) will do a better job than this will re: organizing your files by type or task or any other criteria you can imagine -- and of course it is totally free and bug free !

Type: ReviewDate: 12 Jan 2007 19:03This is the best software update in recent memory.
It is obviously the software of the year and the year just began. Nothing will surpass it. The question is:
Is Toast 8 the software of the decade? Perhaps.
The list of new features is awesome, the interface is handsome, friendly as can be.
the online Help is not only completely rewritten, but now it really can teach you much of what you need to know in a hurry.
A few minutes ago I burned about 200 MP3's to a single CD. In the past there was a 99 MP3 limit.
I also backed up some data - and now you can easily apply a color or an image to the background when the disc opens in icon view.
etc. etc. etc.

Type: CommentsDate: 11 Jan 2007 17:41From the engineering standpoint, it is best that Hard Drives NEVER go through a restart. Spinning down to a "sleep" mode, where it still spins, albeit at a slow rate. is good.
I have several Macs. I strive not to turn any of them off ever - unless I am going to be out of town for a week or more, essentially never.
I do a little Mac consulting. In the 909's i was the Prez' of an Apple Chartered M.U.G. (Mac User Group) for several years. I have been a Mac Fanatic / Evangelist since 1985, though an Apple II user prior to that.
