ACLAUSS I've just found out, that the Finder refuses to rearrange the icons when the files are located in the FileVault. So if you're using the FileVault of MacOSX, Tidy is probably of little use. When not using FileVault, it should work well, but please nevertheless read the FAQ or the "Readme" that comes with Tidy to learn more about the other limitations of the Finder which can affect Tidy.

Unfortunately all the problems with Tidy are caused by the Finder itself.
