EAGLELOUK Hoo I understand... previous versions of TTC couln't work properly ? I thought you meant that the "iTunes" popup can't be used. I've removed the "current playlist" display in 2.3 because there were a lot of problem with it. That's maybe why it now works on your computer, even with Shared libraries. (Version 2.3)

TotalTunes Control | Jun 6 2008 |
EAGLELOUK You are asking something difficult because I've searched how to get Airport libraries and I can't find a way to get them. Also, TotalTunes Control is offering something that no other controllers got : Playlists, TV Shows, and Movies selection. And this is just a feature. You can use it like any other iTunes controller (like CoverSutra). If I can find a way out, be sure I'll implement it. (Version 2.3)

EAGLELOUK Yeah, why not. But I was thinking about the ability to not launch iTunes and directly use iTunes library from the file located in ~/Music. It will avoid using more memory and CPU. (Version 2.2.8)

Cover Stream | May 9 2008 |
EAGLELOUK This app has a great value. However There is some bugs. Maybe it will help the developer : - Fullscreen CoverFlow then click on the info button. An alert shows up, but I can't see it because I'm in CoverFlow full screen. Esc doesn't work. Had to force quit the app - Preferences : quickly switch from general to next prefrence, then next, next again, then back, back. And "boom", preferences window disapears and I couldn't show it up again. Had to quit. -CoverStream plays only songs from the selected album. Maybe it should play the next albums too ? Or add an option for. Anyway, even if I've made TotalTunes Control (an iTunes controller too), I think that CoverStream has a very good value. Keep up the good work, the app looks awesome (Version 2.0)

EAGLELOUK "I really, really hate to do this but the way Laurent acts here forces me to make things perfectly clear and to show that I'm definitely not a thief." If you "really, really hate" to do this, why did you do that ? oO Sophie, you're currently acting like a child by replying and PUBLISHING a confidential mail. I really don't understand. Even if you have or have not stolen avetenebrae's work, this is not the topic. We started speaking of TotalTunes Control, and iTuner said that it is a clone of CoverSutra. I've just replied that this is not a clone, where do you see stolen interface ? Nowhere. It's just Cocoa and HUD... (Version 2.2.3)

EAGLELOUK You're justifying your review by the fact TTC became a shareware.. are you kidding ? It was written and it's still written in the update changelog, the user has the possibility to do not install the update and keep the free version. Maybe CoverSutra looks graphicaly better, but it has not so much features as TotalTunes Control. And as I said before, TotalTunes Control is not a clone, when I released the first v2.0 release, someone told me that it looks like CoverSutra, which I didn't know before ! Look, you're saying that users should switch to CoverSutra because it's graphically better and it is developped by a women ? Do you think it's a good reason ? oO You're just angry because you haven't paid attention about the changelog when you updated TotalTunes Control. I'm also developping TotalTunes Control alone, I've got no graphist to make my interface (CoverSutra developer has one). If CoverSutra is better, then buy it right now. If you already bought it, why do you come here and make a bad review of a program that you are not using ? TotalTunes Control asked and continue asking me a lot of work, that's why I changed it to shareware, and sincerely, what is 8$ ? Nothing... (Version 2.2.3)

EAGLELOUK I gave enought free licences right now. I can't be sure that someone who contact me about free licence is really an old user of TotalTunes Control. I closed my eyes on some mails... but now it's finished. Right now, I'm only giving free licence for users who previously donate for TotalTunes Control. If you have not donate and you're an old user, you'll have to pay. I know it's a little bit annoying, but I realized that TotalTunes Control has grown and has a lot of work behind it. And... 8$ is not so expensive... (Version 2.2)

SULEIMAN KHAN Agreed. I use CoverSutra myself (got it as part of an MUPromo a while back) but before that I was a faithful user of this app, and to be honest the speed of updates leaves CoverSutra in the dust. EAGLELOUK I don't know why everyone say that. I've done all the thing with my own hands, excepting Cover boxes which some users gave to me. Preferences icons have been made by a graphist, for free, and for me. Interface looks like HUD style and CoverSutra is not the only one to use that kind of interface. Shortcuts come from an opensource framework... Then please stop saying "It looks like CoverSutra, you cheated !". When TotalTunes Control 2.0beta has been release, and didn't know that CoverSutra exist, until someone like you said "ho my god you tried to copy CoverSutra !". My answer was "What ??" And then I've downloaded CoverSutra. Yes it looks like CoverSutra, but I never stole any graphic. Thank you. (Version 2.0.9)

the problem is that you chose to close the window and not to quit the application. So, it still running. When you first use it, you can see the shortcut preferences. And see that the default shortcut to toggle shown the window is "CTRL + CMD + S". It is not a problem if you haven't seen it (but the alert panel is here to say that you should take a look at the default shortcut to toggle shown the window before closing it for the first time !). However, if you paid attention, you'd be able to re-open the window and then quit the application from the preferences button. (Version 2.0b6)

EAGLELOUK Yes, right-click on the downloads stack, then choose "sort by > Name" Personaly, I use to sort my downloads by added date. And because my downloads folder is always empty (when I download something, I use to place the archive in the trash directly, I hate my folders being messed up), I don't really care about the stack icon position, it will came back to front anyway when I send the useless file to the trash. And then other applications did the same. So why this should be forbidden for a FREEWARE developer to reproduce this system ? Moreover, about the interface, there is a lot of app that looks like Picturesque. iPhoto, iWeb,... the whole iLife board. Lets take a look at : http://www.seanpatrickobrien.com/iLifeControls/ This is a free framework for all Mac OS X developers. Ok, the thread about "a copy of picturesque" is closed".
