Microsoft Office 2008 | Nov 10 2009 |
DOUGSTER Annoyingly, after this update, many of Entourage's Toolbar settings returned to default. Also, Entourage refused to accept email passwords until they were deleted from Keychain. Oh, and the Address Book /'Synch' settings needed resetting. Apart from that all is okey dokey. I think ! (Version 12.2.3)

LimeWire | Jun 18 2009 |
Glad that worked for you! I agree.......it is unusual in the way LimeWire acts. Like you, I'd expect LW to replace the previous version of its software with the new installation.

LimeWire | Jun 13 2009 |
Before installing this new version of LimeWire did you delete everything associated with the previous version? Usually the 'Classic' error appears when a new version of LW detects an older version (or remnants of it) on a computer. (Version 5.2.2)

DOUGSTER Downloaded and installed this version of Vuze and was annoyed to find that,on opening Firefox,Vuze had replaced my Home page, replaced the Inquisitor search bar with a Vuze replacement AND even installed a preference pane in Firefox's Add-Ons extensions. (Version 4.1.0.4)

DOUGSTER I already have version 10.0 installed, but I thought I'd download the new 10.0.1 version and install it, expecting it to work with 10.0's serial number. But no! The previous version's serial is not being accepted! I cannot believe users are expected to fork out more money for this upgrade. Shocking! (Version 10.0.1)

MEEGO 10.0 S/N should work just fine with any 10.x.x release. Honestly, the only reason I can think of why it wouldn't work is your S/N being blacklisted.. (Version 10.0.2)

DOUGSTER Hmmm, well, where do I begin?! The application 'found' just 186 of my MP3s (there are many more)and then it displayed only two of them in the viewable folder. Also, it looks as if Blackout is designed for a Windows PC. However,I'm not having a go at the developer. At least he tried. (Version 0.97)

DOUGSTER Whatever I do (even uninstalling Smart Scroll/Application Enhancer), the dreaded red line still exists over Firefox/Safari/Audio Codex applications! As a matter of interest, which version of Firefox have you installed on your computer? I am using 3.0.5 (Version 2.8.8)

Thanks to whoever replied to my previous comment. However, SS does not work in Firefox/Safari/AudioCodex/Entourage, and many other apps on my iMac running 10.5.6. Indeed, when I go into Application Enhancer and click on Smart Scroll it tells me there that the above mentioned applications are in Smart Scroll's Excluded list. (Version 2.8.8)

DOUGSTER How I hate it when Smart Scroll doesn't work with my Mac software. I am not complaining about the developer....no way! He does a brilliant job. But, when Apple upgrades its OS (10.5.6 in this case), and it prevents Smart Scroll from doing its job I realise how much I miss SS. Using Firefox/Safari/Entourage/AudioCodex/others, without the smooth scrolling of SS is a chore. The developer of SS should sell his product to Apple! Hopefully Santa Claus will deliver my iMac an updated version of SS real soon......before Xmas Day. Please! Meantime, merry Christmas Mr Smart Scroll :-) (Version 2.8.8)

DOUGSTER Superb software. The people behind AudioCodex are brilliant for replying to feature requests. My previous (and only) complaint about AudioCodex was its lack of a date added/modified column in its playlist(s). No sooner had I requested such a feature when, hey presto, it was incorporated into the new (current) release! I could not have asked for more. AC is a joy to use with its pitch shifts and, well, too much stuff to list. Highly recommended. (Version 1.0)
