DONG-YOUNG  VLC is now unusable for me. I hope these problems are fixed.

DONG-YOUNG  wow this app is without a doubt, much better than the default Preview. It would be perfect if it included a hand tool for dragging larger images. Other than that, thanks for your great work!

XENOPHILE  Agree on the need for a hand tool to scroll large images.

Include this and fill out some of the other features, and this could replace Preview for me. Skim has mastered PDF viewing on Mac OS X, so IMO JustLooking should continue to focus on all other images, and match/exceed Preview's feature set. It's almost there, all it needs are a few features like the hand tool, a few tweaks here and there, and at least one killer feature or GUI innovation that blows Preview away.

DONG-YOUNG  I'd use this on my macbook if smooth scrolling were fixed. Right now, two-finger scroll on my trackpad feels sluggish and choppy even with smoothscrolling on.

DONG-YOUNG  Hardly any visible changes from the beta version for me. Still, I'm glad that tabs have returned to the bottom. Though, one thing I dislike about this version is the lack of an active progress bar for loading like in Safari 3. The spinning circle just gets in my nerves. I hope someone figures out a way to change it soon. Otherwise a very fast and excellent browser.

LUKE_ARMSTRONG  I didn't realise how much I hated the tabs on top until I installed Safari 4 and was reminded how much more convenient and logical it was to have them below the tool bar (no more inadvertent tab closing by clicking the wrong end, no more problems dragging windows, etc.).

Glims works beautifully and is indispensable in enabling Safari to compete with Firefox by offering selectable search engines and other benefits.

The only thing I miss is the Safari 3 progress bar... it must be possible to reinstate it - you can even download a plug-in for Firefox that emulates it!
