It would be nice to see, in a future version, some kind of ability to export to a CSV file.

I have been unable to contact the developer. On my Intel system at least, I can't use the search function. Furthermore, I have not heard back from the developer in about four weeks on the issue of not being able to export to PDF after registering the application.

Just like GREGORGY, I was looking to export a whole CHM file to PDF. I was delighted to find that the unregistered version did just that, albeit with the limits of trial operation. While I didn't bee GREGORY's 6 min to register, I came close. With Chimp registered, however, the PDF export no longer works. It simply does nothing, after I specify the destination file name and location for the PDF.

I can wholeheartedly second every aspect of Toryalai Heart's review.

In addition, Igor is the only graphing package I am aware of that allows me to fine-tune the layout of a graph presenting scientific data to journal-quality standards. Unfortunately, because of the prevalence of Excel, a lot of data these days gets presented in aesthetically displeasing laid-out graphs. Igor, however, gives the same control back to the user scientists had back in the day when they would send data to specialized graphic artists, before submitting to a journal.

My rating of five for "Ease of Use" has to be understood in context. This does not mean that the program is easy to use by someone who has never done any data analysis or built a graph from given data. Rather, it represents the logical, makes-sense, connection between the way Igor uses the dialogs of the OS's GUI to build the commands of its programming language. Once one has built those commands, they are easy to tweak on the language level and then re-executed, which saves a lot of time over having to re-specify parameters modified only slightly, via the GUI.

I am having several problems, which may be arising from the fact that I am running Tiger Server.

First, even though my iTunes library is in the location inside of my home folder, where it is supposed to, the program informs me that my "iTunes Music Library.xml" can't be found.

Then I am asked to locate the file. Once I've done that, the program tells me that it can't find the file. This is followed up with a blank dialog and a sole "OK" button on it. I hit that and then am told that the program has to add the album art to its database. I click on "Add Artwork Now," and the program proceeds to be "Loading Artwork..." for an interminable time.

Second, the program has unexpectedly, quit on occassion.

Perhaps the cause of all this is that, given that I am running 10.4 Server, my home folder is not in /Users/.

As you can see from my rating on everything other than stability, you can easily imagine that I would love to see this program fixed. My children would be able to use our music and e-book much more easily then.

After updating the system to Mac OS X 10.1.3 the driver quit working. With the new version of the driver (1.1.1) it now works under 10.1.5.
