DIGITAL DUDE  This is an excerpt from one of my recent posts on the Apple Discussions Forum, while responding to a members’ satisfaction with his MacBook Pro.

..."I purchased mine last March (week-12) and I haven't had so much as one hiccup! Then again, I’m quite conservative as to what I load into my machine. Being a portable, I found one utility that has definitely help with keeping my Mac in proper health; Atomic Bird’s “Macaroni” Automated maintenance for Mac OSX. It simply invokes Apple’s built-in maintenance algorithm. That, together with “Repairing Permissions” before and after installing anything, has truly kept me out of the Emergency Room.
