LOTEKKK Of course the app needs to be purchased to tweak it. I just risked the miserably costly fee and THIS APP ROCKS!

I had this hot MacBook Core Duo, 2 Ghz, now it runs cools and nicely. I used smcFanControl to keep it cool before. First thing I noticed it ran 0.95V 1 Ghz as default, the notebook was cool and quiet. Now I am tweaking it and gives me the degree of control for every demand I have. Video and Image processing, web desing, network security testing, VMWare vitualization, or simple plain all low power web downloading over night time.

Thanks for this great app, it worth paying $10 to find out.
