DAWGDRUMMER  LensFIx CI 4.3 causes Photoshop to crash when using it in Snow Leopard. I have Photoshop CS4 and new (2009) 8 core Mac Pro. It used to be a great plug-in. Here's hoping an update comes soon.

DAWGDRUMMER  I have G-Force Platinum which no longer works in Snow Leopard. No response after two attempts to contact. Greedy and incompetent customer service. Advice: stick with the free version.

DAWGDRUMMER  Nice game but when in full screen it is not sharp...very uncomfortable to view. For this reason I will not purchase the game and I was looking forward to playing it. I guess X-Words will have to do until this game gets updated.

Any help would be appreciated.

DAWGDRUMMER  I tried to email you and it was refused, so this is the only way I know to get in touch with you. Yes I did use the + button and I was not able to get to my other hard drives. Seems like a nice program though!

ANONYMOUS  Did you add a "folder image bank" using the "+" button ?

Anyway, you can send me e-mails for such support, it will be simpler to exchange information.

Regards,

Pierre Chatelier

ANONYMOUS  Hello,

For my e-mail, remove the "_nospam" if you found the mail address on the web site.

For your problem, it's true that I did not manage to reproduce exactly the nice, standard, file browser of MacOS X to select a path to an image bank. So, your external devices will be available in /Volumes (at the root). This is the "real" path that the Finder usually simplifies.

Regards,

Pierre Chatelier

DAWGDRUMMER  Potentially great program but soooo hard to understand how to use. The included instructions help a little bit but leave so much out. This would be a great one for lynda.com.

NICWALLER  DeskCover 2.0 does automatic updates using the FSEvents API which is only available in Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard".

I've prepared a cut-down version of DeskCover that should work on 10.4 Tiger, but automatic updating has been replaced by a "Resize Now" option in the menu bar. All other 2.0 features are still available. You can download it here.

DAWGDRUMMER  It still crashes and has so many illogical "features" that I can only say that I am disappointed and feel like I wasted my money.

I say avoid this until/if it ever gets out of beta.

DAWGDRUMMER  Well here we are in October and still in a very messed up beta version...my recommendation is to wait until the developer gets it working right and then buy it. It still is very glitchy.

DAWGDRUMMER  I find the new Beta versions to be quite difficult to use due to constant crashes and things getting "stuck". In general, until it gets finalized, I find it quite useless. We were promised a finished product by the end of August...I'm not holding my breath.

But if and when it gets finished I'm sure it will be fun to use.
