DAN MESSING  I was surprised to read these comments here, as I don't believe we have any unresolved emails from you at the moment, or at least none that match this description. Due to the anonymous nature of your comments here, I can't look up any email conversation we may have had.

For the record, our licenses our sent out automatically as soon as your purchase is made. What I suspect happened is that a spam filter marked your receipt email as junk, so you never saw it. I am unclear as to why the replacement license you were sent did not work, please contact me at dan@stuntsoftware.com so we can resolve the issue.

Also, we do offer a no-questions-asked 30-Day money back guarantee, which you are of course entitled to take advantage of if you choose.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience, I feel the issue must be some communication problem, possibly emails not getting through. Either way, we definitely want to do what it takes to either get you your money back or make you a happy customer.

Did you upgrade from an older version of Overflow - the latest update addresses a problem specific to people who upgraded and had set "Check For Updates" to Never in the preferences. If that applies to you, please download the latest update. If you're still having the problem, please contact me directly.

On The Job
Oct 4 2006

DAN MESSING  Hi, developer of On The Job here. I just wanted to let you know that we've recently released an update that address the problem you were having - which is basically that the Job settings (where you enter such things as Hourly Rate and the Client Address) was too hard to find. There are now tabs at the top of the Info panel so you can easily change the settings for the selected job or task.

The first problem of the $0.00 sum total was most likely a result of the job having a $0.00 hourly rate, so no matter how much time was entered, the total would always be $0.00.

I'm not sure about the second problem, but I suspect that the address button wasn't visible because you were viewing the task's settings as opposed to the job's.

I would also like to encourage anyone else who finds weird behavior in On The Job to email me directly at dan@stuntsoftware.com so we can address the issue.

Thanks!
