DAN FRIML  I tried this a few times in the past. I was always missing something or it didn't work as I expected... Today I wanted to try the new version. I do like the idea, the new look and features.. but...

After installation and subsequent Mail app restart it doesn't work here. I can start MUM only if Mail app is not running, it doesn't start when Mail is on...

When I start MUM first and then Mail app, it's in the menu bar, but it doesn't count anything. The whole app freezes and also Mail becomes slow, sometimes totally unresponsive, only force quit can solve this...

Tested on MBP Core Duo, 10.5.2...

Waiting for an update, I hope next time it will work better.
