DAN BUCHAN  Naah.

It really *is* worth it.

But it's still a major pain that every tiny Safari update breaks it.

DAN BUCHAN  Another Safari update....another error that Saft can't load because of the new version. Can there be any way around this for future versions of Saft? A simple x.x.1 update of Safari can't be that major that Saft can't operate, can it? *Should* it?

VLC Media Player

DAN BUCHAN  Both this and the previous rc build exhibit the same bug: when trying to open a VIDEO_TS folder (from a ripped DVD disk image), the "Browse" button is grayed out. I reinstalled 0.9.9, and it works like it always did.

DAN BUCHAN  Instead of *moving* the VIDEO_TS folder out of the ripped DVD package file, just make an alias of it at the same level of the ripped image.

For example, after I rip a DVD I create a folder with the title of the movie/show/etc. and place the ripped DVD image inside it. Then I control-click (or right-click) on the DVD image file, show package contents, then make an alias of the VIDEO_TS folder at the root level of the folder that contains the DVD image. Then you can drop that onto VLC and it will act just like you have the physical DVD in the drive.
