Works well, looks good, and has enough options to make it interesting. Nice work. |

Still doesn't have spell checking in message boxes. That is a show stopper for me. :( Still a great browser, however. I use it full time at work where I use a Windows machine. On my Mac, Safari has me spoiled. Can't live without the spell checking feature because I'll admit, I am a bad speller. |

Cute. however I am not getting many correct 5-7-5 Haikus, even on the Traditional Valid setting. Needs more tweaking. |

Should this even be here ? I guess they are HTML themes for a website and very boring ones at that. It seems like a way to pimp the authors webpage to me. |

MU Admin> Some people have been beta testing this software for quite some time and they've come to learn and love the program. My review has been based off of high volume use and I stand by what I say. :) |

Have you actually used it enough to give it such poor ratings? 1 star for stability? I think you need to either retract your review or use the program first and THEN rate the program. |

Union is simply the best news reader for any platform, ever. Its features for browsing message groups, file groups, and MP3 groups make the admission price worth it. The interface is very easy to use and is way ahead of any other news reader on the market. If you have been disappointed with the quality of news readers for the Mac, like me, then you can celebrate the arrival of Unison. |

Well you'd think with a new version, they would try to improve on the things that really need improved, like speed. It's still ungodly slow. I have a file 450 megs in size and Stuff It 8.0 takes as long (15 minutes) do decompress it as 7.x did. No improvement what so ever. Waste of an upgrade. Time to move away from .sit and towards .zip or .gz.tar |

Looks like a nice port of a popular Windows FTP program. However it does not have SFTP abilities yet, so I'll stick with what I have. It is beta however, so I think it would be unfair to rate it, especially since I haven't really "broke it in". |

Pretty darn neat from what I can tell. I've been looking for an easy way to send iTunes information to iChat and this does it pretty well. It will also send weather, stock, and other status information to your iChat's status message. Works both with you being Available and Away. I am not sure how the status text appears to other chat clients, but for iChat users, they can see random bits of information for you. For example, if you select Weather, it will first display the current temp, then change your status text to the humidity, then change it to wind, etc. It will sometime say "Powered by Status Symbol" in your status text; there should be a way to disable that, especially through a donation. I have to ding Value 1 point for that. |

One of the better stream rippers I have found. The features of the program are excellent, and it's especially nice how it splits the tracks up whenever the track on the other end changes. I paid the $15 so I could specifically record Sensation that's happening tonight in Amsterdam. :) I hope this little program doesn't let me down! |

I'll admit that when Thoth was first released, I bashed it pretty hard. I think I had good reason to do so for a number of reasons (which I will not get into). Up until now, I still did all my news reading on my PC. I didn't feel there was any program that could beat "XNews". Thankfully, Thoth comes very close at beating XNews. After download the 1.7 version, I was pleased to see that this program has turned into the best newsreader for OS X. It's everything MT-Newswatcher for OS 9 was and more. It's able to handle binaries the way I'd like them to and newsgroup handling is very nice. My only complaint is the price. I feel the asking price for this program is about $10 too much. Of course I'd like to see free, but I can understand the need for this to be shareware, but I still think the asking price is too high. At least the nag screens are not as bad as they used to be. |

I've been using this program from the day it was released and probably within 1 hour of using it, I paid for it. I haven't had any stability problems using it and it runs very nicely on my machine. There are a lot of good options to choose from and is very customizable. The new feature Minimize in place is very cool and I've started using that rather than the regular windowshades.... at least for now. ;) Sure, this is something that Apple should have kept and it was a sorely missed feature by me in OS X. However, after this program came out, I no longer cared. |
