DALE GARRISON  In response to performance questions, my limited experience involves eventually having stopped using ClamXav on my G4 and even G5 (dual, 2.0) in part because the performance hit made it problematic for background use. Everything slowed. But on my newer Intel (2.6 Macbook Pro) I don't even know ClamXav is running. With the increase in virus potential, this is a good deal. On a slower machine, I'd just run it at night or other off hours.
