ALANR What I do is start up an Adobe App and let the Adobe updater check and find the file. It doesn't really matter which app you start, it checks for all apps.

In this case I did fire up InDesign though. I also got a Stock Photos update which I may have skipped before.

Chax	May 23 2006	DV8 Installed the latest version and iChat couldn't connect anymore. Hasn't worked all day. I removed Chax, but still no go... Looks like iChat is completely corrupted or something... Too bad... sounded like a great idea at the time. Tiger 10.4.6 (Version 1.4.3b2)		0

XMROCKS Unfortunately, that's the risk you take when installing software like this that modifies system files for iChat.

The only remedy is reinstalling from the Tiger DVD.

KHSUTHER The error you've described isn't a problem iChat, but a problem with AIM itself. You'll get the BadDbStatus error when the AIM login servers aren't working properly. Chax doesn't actually modify any system files or files in iChat, so nothing should be corrupted.
