DFK  This program is brilliant! Especially with version 7, it is easy to use and looks great. The included skins are attractive and the galleries look professional.

JAlbum's greatest strength is the ability to make your own skins. It is completely customizable, flexible and easy to learn if you know HTML. There is also an active user community. Finally, if you ever need to use a PC JAlbum will run on that too.

DFK  That's strange. I'm using the PPC version and it never takes up more than 25 Mb of 'Real' RAM. Did you check the menu cache setting in the preferences?

DFK  The best launcher/hotkey program on the mac. Fast, stable and uses minimal resources -- definitley worth the time to learn and customize it. Thanks Peter!

BETATESTER  "minimal resources"?

On my intel mac it uses more then 250 MB memory, which doesn't seem "minimal" to me...

I wrote 2 times to the developer, but got no answer.

Except from this, nice app...

BETATESTER  As I wrote, I use Butler on a mac intel and I set the menu cache to the smallest size possible.

Just tested the new 4.1.1 version and it still uses 270 MB memory right after the start.

It is a pity, because this is not acceptable for me and so I can't use Butler...
