CORTIS CLARK  In version 2.2 we added a page margins dialog that makes this far easier.

CORTIS CLARK  I would like to point out that you can avoid one of the problems you are having (the one about the stapler) by changing the print margins. You set these up in the Page Setup

Create a custom paper type Set the margins on that page accordingly. select that paper type as what you want to use.. Print the document.

We have noted your request for multi-column printing and will consider it for a future release of the product.

CORTIS CLARK  Sorry, forgot to change the version number on the build we sent out. We have since fixed the problem and uploaded the new version. The only change being the version number.

CORTIS CLARK  The crossword puzzles "Crossword Forge" makes are "free-form" (sometimes also called "criss-cross" or "framework" puzzles).

I would be happy to see an italian style crossword. To send us comments, use the contact link which appear at the bottom of our web page.

Disclaimer:

Keep in mind that we can't promise when or if a particular feature will get added.

CORTIS CLARK  As the developer I would like to address some of Gazman's comments. First the printed quizzes will print more than 1 question per page. They print as many questions as will fully fit on one page. If a question is too long to fit at the end of the page it goes to the next page. Also version 1.6.2 (the current version) does a lot to improve printing, so if you've tried previous versions you may want to take a fresh look.

In regards to the price and to spell checking -- although we would never advocate buying one of our products in hopes that it will eventually have a feature you need (just wait until it does and then buy), we would like to point out that we offer 3 years of free updates guaranteed.

We listend to customers very closely. If you would like to see something improved or changed let us know. This is no guarantee, but we always try our best to please our customers.

iota-calc X
Jun 18 2005

CORTIS CLARK  Tiger's calculator is a nice improvement over previous calculators that have shipped with the system. It however isn't an expression calculator like iota-calc is, meaning you can't type in your expression as you would in code but rather have to break it down piece by piece to feed it in. To make that more powerful iota-calc has unlimited variables, and can remember expressions as well. iota-calc also has a debugger to help you see where your thinking has gone wrong with your expression. There are also quite a few niceties of iota-calc that Tiger's built-in calculator doesn't have. My favorites are the following: the Ascii-Chart with annotations and type and find characters, Icon update in the dock so you can see your last answer, and being able to create an unlimited number of calculators. Of course there are many other improvements which you can read about in the feature overview.
