CORONAMINER  Despite what many reviews/opinions say, I think this software is pretty neat. I am a movie junkie and many many times, I have a dvd playing while I am cleaning or working on computer just so I can hear the dialog. To me it's like listening to music while I work. I probably woudn't use it to watch a dvd, but I would use it to listen to one I love.

CORONAMINER  The price is more then fair. I have used Stickies and wasn't too impressed. Then I was using TextEdit for my notes but they were getting lost in a folder. I stumbled upon Sidenote and I loved it because it did not take up any screen space and was there with a mouse hover. Now I use iClip. The concept is like Sidenote, but it has more features. I tried Jotter and it is a nice, clean, and simple app. If you don't want to spend alot of money then this app may be perfect for you. If you need a little more power, I highly recommend iClip.

CORONAMINER  I use Synergy, but after giving TuneBar a try, I think I just may switch. Synergy has alot of bells and whistles and it is a great app, but I just love that TuneBar will show the name of song, artist, album (or any combo you set) that is playing AND it also allows you rate songs from the bar itself. The bar pops up only when you need it. I also has Growl notifications. I think I used to use an app that would reside in the menu bar and the name of the song playing would scroll across the bar, ( I want to say it was Sizzling Keys, but not sure). Anyways, I LOVED the scrolling ticker and Synergy has said it will be available in a future release so until then, I think I am going to use Tune Bar.

CORONAMINER  I have been using the demo version for a couple of weeks and it is perfect for my needs. I love the fact that I don't have to open iCal or Dashboard to see my appts and birthday reminders. Having a calendar displaying the date from the menu bar is logical. It works perfectly with iCal events and being able to switch forward or backwards between the months is very useful. I can't say enough good things about this app. I planned to buy it after the trial period was up so I'm just glad that this promo came along when it did.
