CHIPOTLE  Aperture 2 only creates TIFF files of images when you're using plugins, like the burn/dodge plugin. If you're using retouching tools that function entirely within Aperture, it only makes changes to metadata as well.

CHIPOTLE  I understand that $90 is definitely over the "impulse buy" level, but are you serious? I can't comment directly on ZeusDraw's strengths (I'm casting about for a program to replace Fireworks, specifically, and I don't think this fills the requirements I have), but for Pete's sake, ZD's full price is less than the UPGRADE PRICE of a "big name" app from Adobe or... uh... Adobe. It's perfectly in line with the "prosumer app" price point of Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop Elements.

If there's a $30 program out there that does everything ZD does and does it as well, by all means, go for it. I don't think there is, though, and I think there's a reason there isn't.
