CHIMOOSOFT  Tried the demo of this software on an external drive where I'd deleted some pictures I wanted to recover. It churned on the drive for many hours (looking only for jpg and raw files) and then this morning said it was done. Went to save the search results, and the program produced a spinning beach ball which I let spin for about 1.5 hours before giving up.

Not impressed; poorly designed user interface, confusing to use, and didn't work for me. YMMV.

CHIMOOSOFT  Anyone try this with the latest iTunes version (7.3.1)? I'm nervous to give this thing access to my library...

CHIMOOSOFT  A work around has been discovered thanks to a kind individual on the Perian web site. The next version of TubeTV will be altered to work with the newer Perian 1.0. No need to contact them anymore.

CHIMOOSOFT  Unfortunately, a problem currently exists with Perian version 1.0 which prevents TubeTV from exporting flash videos (flv) to other formats such as H.264 m4v for AppleTV and iPod. If possible, please use Perian version 0.5 for the time being (download link on the TubeTV web page), and send the folks at Perian a note asking them to fix this!
