TWAIN SANE

CHARLESPICKRELL  Mattias sent me this build to test with and it worked perfectly with 10.6. It is wonderful to see someone donating their time for getting so little in return. Thank you!

TWAIN SANE

CHARLESPICKRELL  When I ran sane-find-scanner from the terminal there seemed to be an issue where my USB devices are unable to be enumerated properly. 'could not fetch string descriptor: Other error' I'll take a stab that libusb may not be working properly. That or I just can't follow the directions. Great concept though, I'd really like to use the scanning interfaces in 10.6.

ScreenSharingMenulet

CHARLESPICKRELL  It would be nice if the application use standard OS X pull down menus instead of the animated menu. It worries me that it may not remain compatible after an OS upgrade.

ScreenSharingMenulet

ANONYMOUS  Hi,

don't worry, ScreenSharingMenulet uses fully compatible NSMenuItem like all other menulets.

The menu items are created dynamically in the same way as in Apple's Airport menulet.

Regards

CHARLESPICKRELL  It sounds like you are downloading the sourcecode, or downloading for the incorrect platform. Go to the URL below and choose the first download link. On the net page Choose Mac OS X as the platform.

CHARLESPICKRELL  Upgraded from the previous version of Boot Camp on my MacBook Core Duo. I have not had any problems.

- Parallels works fine

- No need to reactivate Windows or Office

Remember to make a new drivers CD if you are upgrading from an earlier version of Boot Camp to put the new Macintosh drivers into Windows.

Civilization IV
Sep 26 2006

CHARLESPICKRELL  Reviews I've read on the Web state that people have had no problems running this game on the MacBook. When I download the 1.61 v11864 version I get complete graphics corruption in-game. I've turned all the graphics to their lowest settings, and to medium settings with no luck. Can any MacBook owners get this demo to work?

Me:

MacBook

OS 10.4.7

2 GB RAM

2 GHz CoreDuo

GAZMAN  I get the same deal on my MacBook with a Gig of RAM. On first start-up it also says that my video card is not supported.

You sure you weren't reading about MacBook Pro's?
