CELESTIALWARRIOR Installing UNO, then reinstalling iTunes, then using Aqua4iTunes with the UNO Shade option resolves the problem completely. (Version 1.5.1)

CELESTIALWARRIOR This is by far one of my most valuable applications. In total, I've saved at least 3 gigabytes with Xslimmer. Every time I install or update an app, more space is wasted on my machine. This app gives me that space back. I have never made a better purchase in my life. (Version 1.2.2)

CELESTIALWARRIOR I suppose that's a neat idea. In the developer's defense, as I stand pretty much unbiased on this subject, this was a pretty important update, adding a few good updates... I suppose just save them up and make one big 'ol blockbuster of a release. (Version 1.1.3)

GAOSHAN Generally I expect version 1.x software releases to be ready to roll. If you have a bunch of features/bugfixes/etc you should make them all and then release. There is a reason why such frequent releasing is: a. uncommon, and b: disliked. You would give the appearance of a better product if you made your changes over time and then released less frequently. Just some advice for you. (Version 1.1.3)

iGTD | Mar 17 2007 |
BARTEK BARGIEL I guess it depends... you can A: ignore an app if you don't like it and think to yourself 'oh no, another release... can you please stop, Mr Dev??' or B: belong to the group of users of this app who sent some ideas to the developer and are waiting for their implementation. So - I could actually announce smaller updates on my website (which would stop bothering you with this small label 'iGTD X.Y.Z' on the MacUpdate start page ;-)... and put only the major releases to MacUpdate. What do you think? (Version 1.1.3)

MACUPDATE ADMIN We'll only hunt them down and post them anyway. It's our job, it's what we do. (Version 1.1.3)

iGTD | Mar 17 2007 |
MACUPDATE ADMIN It is our raison d'etre. Our mission. Whenever a software is released, whether it is brand new, an update to an existing software, whatever, we want to be the first to post it. We have a 'harvest' mechanism which runs as a cron job many many times a day and it generates reports for human eyes to decipher, we find many if not most updates this way. And, of course, many developers submit their software/updates to us via our software submission system. By the way, anyone can use our software submission system. Example: If a MacUpdate user finds an app that we don't have, that user can submit it to MacUpdate, and it is quite easy to do. (Version 1.1.3)

CHRIS REED As a Celestrial Warrior you will no doubt be calm, centred, and all powerful, and have the power to single handely wipe out a Vogon constructor fleet without breaking sweat. Surely daily updates are within your grasp. I sense irritation. Not good in a warrior ! (Version 1.1.3)

CELESTIALWARRIOR Very well put. I hate it when people can't just deal with the app that's here, and expect more than what's in the app all the time, instead of just accepting that a developer put time and effort into developing what the application is. (Version 1.1)

CELESTIALWARRIOR Exactly, it's free. Free programs usually accomplish one simple goal, else a lot more time goes into developing them, and they end up costing money. Let the free remain free. Deal with what you're given. If you want a password wallet, get 1Passwd. Otherwise, this is a fine app for keeping your serials safe. (Version 1.1)

EL-CRAVITO It seems to me that there's no reason to worry. Please visit the developers' website: http://www.eagle-of-liberty.com/index_en.php And read what he he writes there about his software: "This website was created in order to expose my free applications destinated to the largest public." I know there are other developers that change the licences fron freeware to shareware when their products become successful. But this doesn't seem to be the csae. If you have read others post that I've left in MacUpdate, you'll se I'm also a defender of free software. And I cannot stand developers that charge for features that come already in Mac OS X or that can be found for free in other applications. (Version 1.1)

EL-CRAVITO These are just suggestions. And, of course, the developer is free to accept them or not. It's him who will have to decide. Nobody must be offended with a simple suggestion. And it seems to that there no need to hate anybody for this. (Version 1.1)

EL-CRAVITO Allow me little correction to what I wrote before. The full post should be like this: These are just suggestions. And, of course, the developer is free to accept them or not. It's him who will have to decide. Nobody must be offended with a simple suggestion. And it seems to me that there no need to hate anybody for this. The "me" in this last phrase remained in the keyboard against my will...

Disco | Mar 5 2007 |
CELESTIALWARRIOR This is a great little application. It's not meant to be a complete replacement for Toast, but look at the price! At a fraction of the price of Toast, it delivers more than just a fraction of the features in a great looking package. For those of you looking for a fun way to burn discs, and turn the monotony making CDs into something at least mildly interesting, this app does that in a spectacular way. Even on my MacBook, I enjoy the lesser smoke when burning a CD, because it gives me something to do while I wait for the disc to finish... so I blow on the microphone and gawk in awe as the smoke moves around. If I were using another app... I could sit and watch... Disco gives a bit of interaction into an otherwise completely uninvolved process. As well, the crossroads interface design gives a simple way to walk you through to making the exact disc you want without sifting through useless menu after useless menu. I only see the options I need once I drag audio files only to Disco. This is a great app with very little bloat, a great interface, and a refreshing new take on disc burning. (Version 1.0.2)

CELESTIALWARRIOR Again, another case of release spamming. Please, save multiple bug fixes or features for one release instead of bumping this app to the top of the MU list every time you fix a spelling error, or some other minor flaw. This is hogging valuable page real-estate from apps that I might actually want to use. I've seen this app nearly every day for the past week. I've already decided I have no use for it. Stop shoving it back in my face, please. I'm sure it's a great application, so I'm not giving it a bad rating, I just hate it when developers spam updates on MacUpdate. (Version 1.0.9)

HYPERT Sorry about that! I released rev 1.07 as the first release last week, followed by a bug fix (1.08) and a feature enhancement (1.09). I didn't think this was "spamming" as this is how I release SW at work too (as soon as possible), but I can see your point. There are some packages on MacUpdate that I don't use and I don't like seeing multiple releases for them either. Next planned feature is support for XSPF playlists, but it will probably take a week until I get around to it anyway... (Version 1.0.9)

CELESTIALWARRIOR Okay this is getting ridiculous. Stop releasing stuff. 2 major releases within 3 days of each other? Stop. Maybe you can release something every few weeks when you revise a code that works just fine over and over and over again. But please. Stop hogging space on the main page with this. Please don't take this offensively. I like the app. I just don't like your MU etiquette... (Version 3.0.1)

CELESTIALWARRIOR This is a cute little app that does exactly what it claims to... How a person can insult such an app by using horrible grammar is beyond me. "You're screenshot is so unelegant"... pssh. You are screenshot? Go die in a ditch, lamewad. This app is corny in presentation, therefore, all the more awesome. I couldn't go by a week without using this to clear up some of the clutter on my desktop. And it makes me laugh every time I do. Thanks, CleanDesk. (Version 1.3)

CELESTIALWARRIOR Honestly, it's not all that bad. I use it for my band's myspace, and it accomplishes what it claims to, even if not as daintily as a ballerina might. I don't notice any specific drain on my machine while I'm using it, and sometimes, I even keep it running in the background to repost promo bulletins. (Version 1.3.5)

CELESTIALWARRIOR This is simply the best free virtual desktop switcher/manager ever. The visual effects run smoothly, and keystrokes are easy to set. I love how you can switch the desktop simply by clicking on an application that is on another desktop, and the desktop will automatically switch to show that application. This is a beautiful piece of software and deserves the support of the community. (Version 0.52r155)
