I have been using RSG 7.6.6 and have found that each version continues to improve while maintaining rock solid stability and ease of use. Their support is easy to use with very quick response. They have given me given me the needed work around and corrected the issue in a later update. I appreciate the fact that they put out lots of 7.6.x updates and improvements, and they have extensive online support and tutorials. Better all around company in every category than Apple, Adobe, M$Soft,Quark or any others that I use. This is an update to my earlier post on version 7.6.5.

I found earlier versions awkward and unintuitive. I switched to Ready,Set,Go (RSG)by Diwan software which restored my peace of mind. I have found RSG to be the most intuitive alternative available. It's easier to use, more powerful and far more stable than Quark or Indesign.

Every time I try to open the 1.2.2 version of NeoOffice it gets to the first blank page and immediately crashes. I would live to try this if someone can tell me how to get it to open. I tried removing the preference file but it still won't open. I am using OSX 10.4.6 on a dual 2.0 PowerMac. Any ideas?

I do not understand the warning. What will it remove and what is the implication of it?

How do you find them and then remove them?

I have never been able to get it to work on a dual G5 2.0, under MacOSX 1.4.xx, not at all. The scroll wheel still does not work with Filemaker, whick is why I was buying it.

Does this work with Apple's built in fax software? That would be great if it did. If it only works with FaxSTF I would never use it since FaxSTF is the worst software I have ever seen or used.

Well stated. I found this to be the worst software I have ever used. Don't waste your time with it-- period!

I found this work-around to get Illustrator 10.0.3 working for me when nothing else would.

Go to the directories: User/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Fonts/ and User/Library/Application Support/Adobe/TypeSpt/, then remove all of the Adobe Font Cache files (named AdobeFntXX.lst") then repair permissions and relaunch the finder or restart.

This worked for me. The original fix did not include the permission repair and relaunch but I found I needed to do it to get it to work.
