CALDER  It's only 140MB, and because the devs are constantly adding new content, any Point of Sale purchase would have some enormous update waiting for you by the time you got home. That said, there are still probably some box copies from the original release left in some stores, but my guess is that the updates you'd have to install might approach 140MB. 0_0

CALDER  What Incarnate says is true, I don't know what 'club' you're talking about. Please remove your post and stop slandering and spreading misinformation about VO.

CALDER  Amazing game, great userbase, awesome devs, but as I know people don't pay for the company, I'll elaborate on the game. It is the intense twitch-based combat that keeps me so hopelessly addicted to VO. The adrenaline, skill, and fun are unparalleled in any other game I've played. From duels and single combat to epic, large-scale engagements, the combat system is beautiful in its simplicity, (real physics and simple projectile motion apply to most aspects), yet endlessly exciting in its intricacies. I will let other players elaborate on other aspects of the game, or you can try the free, no-strings-attached 8-hour GAME-PLAY, not real-time, trial of the game. Also, the developers are extremely committed, resulting in one of the most stable and responsive games around. They are constantly adding to it, and often take player-suggestions into account in deciding their long-term agenda for the game. In fact, players may even join the PCC, (Player Contribution Corps), and create missions and other content for the game.

Schoolhouse

CALDER  Features: I used to imagine an application that would do something like it, at times fantasising that I would later write it. Then I found schoolhouse, which does more than I'd ever dreamed up. Amazingly well thought out application, you can tell the dev is in college. :D

Ease of Use: What can I say, it's like iTunes, (minus the Homework Party Shuffle, but that would be a pretty lame feature anyway.) If you've got an IQ over 60, Schoolhouse will work like your right arm, (or left if your left handed).

Value: It's great, AND it's free. If value=worth/cost , then I guess Schoolhouse takes the cake with the ol' sideways eight.

Stability: lol, you have to wonder why Schoolhouse even has got a backup function. It's about as stable as the Mac it runs on. IE, it ain't gonna budge for nobody.

Bad stuff: (Hey, I've got to include something or you'll think I'm just a Schoolhouse cult worshipper or something.) There's a few tiny little things:

1) Notebook/Assignment divider doesn't save position across sessions

2) File open doesn't save location across sessions

3) File open doesn't save type across sessions

I emailed the author about these issues, and he said he's working on them right now.

Overall rating: 5/5: Great product, responsive dev.
