CTURNER  As you can see from the other reviews as well, 1Password is an excellent way to keep track of any number of passwords you need to keep track and access to information in your programs and on web sites. Clean and clear interface that helps you without getting in the way. Easy to configure. User support is outstanding and their forums are very active. Recommended without reservation.

CTURNER  I have kept up with Bookends updates for a number of years now. It gets better and better, with lots of customization now that can adapt to the needs of academic researchers. Excellent use of incorporating PDF documents linked to references. A long list of academic/medical servers for downloading references, or you can easily create your own and use the embedded Search for online work. I use Nisus Writer Pro with Bookends and they work very well. Also, Scrivener is a good addition to this workflow. I've found the developer of Bookends to be very responsive and the forums are very active. I have a large database, sub-divided with smart and manual folders and have no problem with speed of input or output.

At this price point and with these features, Bookends is well worth a long look if you need citation and reference help.

CTURNER  This is a terrifically useful software. The music/background sounds are relaxing, soothing and can help with studying and concentrating. They are also very useful for just relaxing. Recent updates improved functionality and user tweaking. You can adjust lots of parameters to get the effect you want or just select from the wide variety included. Developer is very responsive and friendly. Highly recommended

CTURNER  This app continues to improve steadily. I get excellent results and the developers are consistent and responsive. This is an excellent app if you need voice recognition (not speech of text or such, a different thing) and you are willing to get the right combination of hardware and put in the necessary training. MacSpeech is doing it right and the upgrade prices are absolutely fair.
