VAN SMACK I recommend using MPEG Streamclip to cut out commercials. It is fairly simple and straightforward.

TiVo Decoder	Dec 7 2006	CDAVEY Works great. PRO: It made a 30 min (600mb) file viewable in VLC in about 5 minutes. Makes a complex orocess, for me anyway, simple (I don't know how to CD into a directory in Terminal) CON: No progress information.Seems like it took ver my Mac completely. (Version 1.1)		0

Microsoft IntelliPoint	Mar 13 2006	CDAVEY If anyone is wondering, this does work on an Intel Mac. It loads a System Preference Pane and you can set up the mouse. I thought that only Universal panes would work but it looks like MS got around it. (Version 6.0)		0

CHRIS REED yes it does

5.1 would load but not allow full customisation

6 will work on intel mac and adds a new couple of button choices

ISKIPPY Thank goodness. My mother just bought an Mac mini Core Solo with the Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 to complement it, based on my recommendation. Needless to say, I caught hell when the included drivers (5.x) didn't work properly. She'll be thankful to hear compatible drivers do in fact exist.

SMACTRON But is it through Rosetta that the Preference Pane / application run?

Does anyone know if Microsoft is working on a Universal Binary version of the software? Or if Microsoft plans to update the software at all?

ISKIPPY Pardon the double post. I just wanted to add that everything installed is Universal: the kernel extension, the preference pane, and the application itself.

Xbox Live Friends	Dec 30 2004	ANONYMOUS As a 0.5 product this app is great. Most of the limitations appear to be with xbox.com and not the software. For some reason Xbox Live won't let you stay logged in for more than an hour. The app is well integrated and actually has a little web browser built-in that points to the log-in page for Xbox Live to make signing in easier. Did I say "Xbox" enough? (Version 0.5)		0

MyTV/x Driver	Sep 26 2003	EMACGUY Jeff, set the audio to "Built in audio controller" not MyTV. Don't think that recorded audio is supported though it works on mine, with some horrible drift the longer the clip. Try WireTap to record the audio and then put the vid/aud together in iMovie or QT Pro. (Version 2.2b)		0
