Type: ReviewDate: 8 Oct 2007 14:15This could be a sweet little tool. I appreciate the effort. It is clear a lot of thoughtful work has gone into it.
That said, I tried it on three one-page PDFs and it failed on each. (iMac, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.16GHz, 1Gb RAM, OS v10.4.10).
Also, unless I *really* lack imagination about the precision that this kind of tool can accomplish, and its potential applications, I would encourage the authors to look at the idea of an end-product that could be priced in the $10-30 range. Perhaps at that mark, enough units could be sold to get close to the profitability of selling just a few to power users at $250.

Type: ReviewDate: 31 Jan 2007 13:24Interface seems mostly complete and reasonably intuitive. But, oh, the pricing!! On an Intel-based Mac, it would be cheaper to buy the industry-standard Medisoft (Windows only), and a copy of Parallels. Also it is disappointing to see another product of this type with such limited import-export features. Finally, basing it on 4D doesn't really give one a lot of confidence of the product lasting well into the future (even FileMaker would be better in that regard).

Type: CommentsDate: 26 Aug 2006 02:10I wish I'd seen your offer and saved my money.
You are 100% right about Interiors being next to worthless for what it is billed to do: custom interior design for the CAD novice.
And the custom object design program should be free, and Microspot should host an online object-sharing website. Microspot should be grateful to anyone willing to spend the time and frustration to create more objects to be used in Interiors.
I'd love to see Interiors live up to it's promises. But until then, I'll just go to sleep each night wishing I had my money back.

Type: ReviewDate: 26 Aug 2006 02:05Maybe worth $5 as a novelty, but not ready for prime-time as a real design app. Feature are like a 10-year-old program ported hastily into OSX. Incredibly awkward to set up anything from scratch.

I've tried it out on a 1.33MhZ G4 iBook, a brand-new Intel iBook, and 2 G4 733MHz towers. Same on each.
Thanks for your continued efforts, Rabbit!

Type: CommentsDate: 3 May 2006 13:53I don't know if I'll ever be happy with Firefox until using the up/down key takes me to the beginning/end of a text entry box (the same way that works in virtually every Mac app *other* than Firefox.
AND, the one thing that *might* get me into Firefox and out of Safari would be a plug-in with the feature of that much needed Mac OS9 app "NetPrint" -- I held off moving to OSX for two years simply because I made such use of NetPrint in doing research and documenting sources of info from the web.

Type: CommentsDate: 5 Apr 2006 17:13Ah, but when can we boot OSX and WinXP side-by-side, and drag and drop, and copy and paste, between?
Assuming it doesn't take developers away from Apple OS (since Apple users will have access to Win apps), then that is the day I am waiting for.

Type: ReviewDate: 15 Feb 2006 16:55I ***LOVE*** THIS!
A simple little tool that rocks.
As someone who commuted through SF by bus, repeatedly clicking the Airport menu icon, to quickly up-or-down load e-mail or a web-page, this is a real relief! I ended up memorizing most of the good spots, but what a pain!
Now that I am not commuting through WiFi land, I know I'll still use this. Heck, it's fun just to watch! So far, it works great!!! (iBook G4 1.33MHz OS10.4.4)
Thanks, developer(s)!!

Type: ReviewDate: 19 Jan 2006 18:23Oh come on! No one else is reviewing??
It's free! It's amazing! It's fast, stable, incredibly useful, and easy to learn!!
If I could add just 2 features, they would be (1) more of a WYSIWYG editor, and (2) the ability to assign moderators to pages so that edits are held until approved.
(1) would make this tool much easy to use for non-techies -- I've run into this several times... trying to use a wiki for collaborative document development but having to give up because non-techies were too intimidated or found it too difficult.
(2) Would make it a much more useful tool for collaborative document development and in smaller communities where there is are not enough people in the pool to monitor collectively for mistakes, whackos, etc.
But this is still an awesome tool!

Type: ReviewDate: 14 Jan 2006 17:01Mad props, crazy props to the Wesnoth crew!!! I haven't played this kind of strategy game since the McGraw-Hill bookshelf games once so popular with the West Point crowd, that I played as a teen 25 years ago. But this one sucked me in... wasted probably half my spare time over thast week (yeah, thanks a lot, guys). The two main things I love as a neophyte are (1) that you can get a lot of enjoyment out of the game without becoming a game-geek, by when setting it to "easy," and (2) that there seems to be a reasonable degree of versaility to each scenario -- more than one way to intelligently approach the scenario and more than one set of tactics / strategies for success (though this might be improved in future). I am also impressed the degree of detail underlying game-play.
Wonderfully playable. fun, attractive. Rocks. Save often, in case things don't go your way!

Type: ReviewDate: 6 Jan 2006 13:22Hangs up every time I try to run it (G4 tower 667MHz, 512Mb RAM, OSX v10.3.9).
Only thing possibly unusual about my set-up is I have a partitioned hard-drive -- databases are not on OSX partition, but all other server files *are*... so I have a hard time seeing that as the trouble.
Hangs while searching for files to replace.

Type: ReviewDate: 3 Jan 2006 12:53A great little thing!! Great idea and beautifully, simply done. Seems stable (OSX 10.4.3, iBook G4 1.33MHz). Love clicking on one cam to get a full-size view! Simple! Easy!
One warning/bug -- one mis-click can erase all 16 addresses! So, keep a list of the cam addresses in a text-file somewhere, so you don't have to go online and find them one-by-one again!
My wish-list: 1. Get rid of the behavior that erases all addresses. :-) and 2. If possible, I'd love to be able to re-size the window -- can widgets be resizeable? 3. Sure, a user-specified number of cams would be great.
But I am not complaining!! This widget is a lovely gift even just as it is! Thanks!!!
