BAD CYBORG  A Defender game that's very easy on the eyes without resorting to real 3D graphics. The overall feel can be described as Wallace and Gromit meets Parodius.

BAD CYBORG  For years now I've held out for a real game of Mahjong, or better known as "Ma-Jiang" in China, where the game is supposed to be from.

Instead, every few month we get a new flavor, an exact copy if you will, of the Activision game from the Apple II days, Shanghai. Just like Egg Fu Yong, this dish does not relate to the actual Chinese people, but rather, is a complete concoction of the west. However, this in no way makes the Activision game Shanghai a variation, or even an offshoot of the actual game MaJiang/Mahjongg. The two just play like day and night. In fact for a Mac "Mahjongg" game to outstage all others, the programmer need not go further than to the source.

So here's the question: who's going to take the initiative?

BAD CYBORG  Great game is all I can say. I have no idea why others hate it. Yes, keyboard arrangement can be a little weird, and it's fixed on the demo, but it shouldn't take more than a few minutes to get used to it. In fact after playing it for a bit, you'll see that it actually makes sense. The gameplay reminds me a lot of Beyond Good And Evil, which is a good thing, since no one seems to be bringing that title to the Mac. All in one, one great game. Too bad others don't think the same. It's one of the few game titles within these couple of years that actually make me want to buy it. And at the special price now, I don't see why not.

A word of advice: don't try this on anything less than a 1GHz G4 and Radeon 9000.

BAD CYBORG  3 and 1/2 stars, are you kidding me? Never since Halo have I played a more seductive, eye-candy rich game. And that is to say nothing of the Unity engine, which just rocks your socks, if you even know what socks are. If you're an idiot who can't figure out why the game doesn't work on your Mac, (works on all 3 Macs I installed it on btw), then you should refrain from coming on the internet and posting retarded reviews. Ask for help, or see a doctor. Or better, go to Ambrosia's forum, and talk to someone. Here's my 5 stars just to offset the idiots. The actual game is worth 5 stars in my book anyway. Check it out, you'll be blown away... unless you're the type who don't ever play video games, or hibernated through the '80s.
