I'm with the others here - do not pay for this software until it's updated, which is seeming less and likely every month. It's really buggy in Leopard and it always has been.

you can get the exact same functionality by using On My Command and this script:

sips -s format __DLG_INPUT_TEXT__ __OBJ_PATH__/* --out __OBJ_PATH__

I have to revise my comments - after switching computers and asking for a change of license 3 times now, I've received no response. Awful support.

Wow. Amazing software and well priced as well. I'm working on renovating our bathroom and this came along just in time - the instant Google Sketchup object download support is a huge time saver. Great work.

crashes. repeatedly. I'd love to use this but it's impossible to keep from going south when adding render parameters. I'll stick to the terminal scripts for now.

way to render the default camera, Autorender. MRender is better and it's free.

The people writing negative reviews saying that this app does nothing that Indesign doesn't obviously don't work with PDFs in a professional publishing environment. I do - I'm an art director of a magazine that sends PDFs to our prepress house and this software has saved us a lot of time simply because: it exports to single-page PDFs (which Indesign doesn't and our online prepress system requires them in single pages) AND it lets you strictly specify the naming of those pages so it conforms to the requirements of that prepress system. Before discovering this app, we had to do separate the PDFs and manually rename them, which was time consuming. I do think that this program is slightly overpriced but it is still invaluable for our publications.

This is a nice idea with a still-faulty execution. It failed to create a bunch of directories and trying to use anything other than this program to edit the created folders/files is a nightmare since it creates a wackload of incomprehensible files in a flat list on S3. God.

I reviewed Aperture and Lightroom for Ars Technica and this is the only app that I've spent my hard-earned money on (the others were sent to me for review). While this app doesn't do all that Aperture or Lightroom does for library or metadata handling, it just does everything I ever asked a good RAW processor to:

-has a radius setting for sharpening

-great handling of high-noise images, letting you sharpen and denoise without getting unnatural blips of noise

-interactive curve adjustment

-extremely customizable settings

and the price is incredible for the quality. After using all major apps including Canon's Digital Photo Pro, Bibble, Capture One Pro and others, I'd say that this is the best option, at least for the Digital Rebel xti, which is what I have.

I almost hesitated to buy this software because of these shoddy reviews so I felt the need to clear things up after trying the demo and buying Powerrip 7.4.1 for my Epson R1800. It is great software and the wealth of options and quality are both exactly what I wanted for accurate low-cost proofing for press jobs. It's a little finicky to set up but once it's going, it's solid and the colour accuracy for pseudo-press proofing at home is really what sold me. I had an issue with overprints not working but the tech support responded the same day to tell me the fix for it (use Press Proof setting) and it was resolved. Otherwise Postscript 3 support from my CS3 Indesign and Illustrator are good but I have managed to get bad renderings with extremely complex files that were basically just set up to see how crazy a PS L3 job I could send to this (gradients overprinted by masked multiply with type, etc) but fortunately, for most needs it won't hiccup. Combine this program with a cheap printer profiling app/hardware like Colorvisions PrintFix Pro and you've got a great little home proofer on the cheap.
