ARISTOPHANES  A decent program that does a few core things well. Nice clean interface. It is, however, very expensive for a being a one-trick pony. It fills a niche, but would probably see a lot more downloads and sales at $20 versus $50. Less is more.

ARISTOPHANES  This is a much needed print profiler utility that, unfortunately, does not work very well. Printers listed on the website as supported are not listed as menu choices where necessary. It is hard to navigate. The process for profiling and colour management should follow the workflow, but it does not. I suspect the underlying code and framework is decent, but the UI and visible process is lacking. Hopefully this will improve. As one other poster noticed, for a demo, it's impossible to actually buy this product!

ARISTOPHANES  Excellent product for DV import. Keeps metadata and allows for keyword and grouping. Syncs very nicely with iMovie and FCP on the critical information. Comprehensive and smartly done program by someone who knows their stuff about video. This is one of the best "sleeper" programs for video on the Mac. Anyone who needs a great DV video cataloguing program should have this.

ARISTOPHANES  Version 1.30 will not start up. Keep getting the error message and a chance to send a note to Apple directly. Something big was missed on this version.
