ARCHMISSION Oops, I meant 30 minute updates. It has not updated throughout the day and even when I manually update it, it does not update. FYI, Desktop does not seem to be updating the communities either. Could this be a web access issue? While not connected, maybe something is similar. Just speculating. It only updates when I shutdown MUMenu and restart it. Beyond that, it will not update anymore. I have been on Snow Leopard since it came out so this did not seem to be an issue with SL. ARCHMISSION I removed MUMenu from my start up and then have loaded it this morning and it updated. I will verify if it updates through out the day, but it seems to be working again... (Version 2.1.2)

ARCHMISSION Actually Joel, that is partly the case. I see it as the top listing, but the listing below is not updating at all. the list shows up as the same list for over a day. I have stopped running MUMenu today and will try it again tomorrow to see it it changes at all. (Version 2.1.2)

ARCHMISSION Yes Spotlight is turned on. Yes I have the latest version. I have been in contact with your team and they have helped out other than it will not download the latest from the communities. Thank you all so much. (Version 5.0)

ARCHMISSION The follow up. The response from MacUpdate has been tremendous and Extremely helpful. I recommend them above all in customer service. The response was immediate. Microsoft could learn from them as much as GM, Ford, etc. I am impressed! (Version 5.0)

ARCHMISSION This program does not seem to scan my HD. Also, it does not pull all the current info from MacUpdate website. Also MUMenu has quit working. The desktop program will not scan folders within other folders, etc. Sorry to say that MacUpdate Desktop is currently worthless to me and also the fact that MUMenu is now broken I am not able to do anything that I could do freely since I can only find out new updates via the web. Any help would be appreciated. (Version 5.0)

JOEL MUELLER Is Spotlight turned on? Did you make sure you have the latest "5.0" version that was updated a day after the main release? (Version 5.0)

DP8 The issue you emailed to us concerning the community listing has been fixed for the update we will be releasing soon, but should also show up properly in 5.0 as well. If you could please email me your issue with MUMenu, we would appreciate that too - it should be working fine.

JOEL MUELLER Desktop 5 and MUMenu aren't connected in anyway. None of the resources are shared between the two solutions. I'm currently running MUMenu and Desktop 5 on my Mac without issues. My guess is that you see MacUpdate Desktop 5 as the top listing and aren't noticing that the new releases are being updated below the top sponsored listing. (Version 2.1.2)

ACCOUNTCLOSED Same here, Joel. It's not that the top item (MacUpdate Desktop 5.0) is keeping itself at the top of the list, giving the impression that the list isn't updating. The entire MUMenu list has fallen well behind the updates showing on the MU site. In other words, it isn't updating. Glad you aren't having issues with this, but a number of users suddenly are. Please look into the problem further. (Version 2.1.2)

Microsoft Office 2008 | Jun 11 2009 |
ARCHMISSION Wait until you try talking with Tech Support. All they do is say that the bug is a feature and that you are responsible for everything! After dealing with Microsoft's Tech support, I was reminded how great a company Apple is. They were the most helpful and it is free. FYI, when you register your software (if it does register) it is not for anything other than 2 free phone calls from them. That was explained quite clearly to me. They explained that they did not show that I owned and registered their software since Office 98 or that if you lose your previous upgrade disk, they cannot replace it. It is your responsibility. I asked why do I register the software? 2 free phone calls. Yes, that was the answer! $399.95 and all you get is 2 free calls. That does not even include the $239.95 upgrade disk cost. iWorks, $79 and you get the full program every time. What has a better value? Microsoft is a company first, customer last type of company. Now I am reminded why I am a Mac fanboy. I love customer first companies! (Version 12.1.9)

Growl | Jun 1 2009 |
ARCHMISSION Growl has gotten extremely buggy. I finally had to remove it since it constantly crashes my mail program. Mail even has recognized that it is causing the crashes and identifies that it caused the crashes. While I love the idea of the notifications, the program has gotten to the point that it is not useable anymore. What concerns me is that as Snow Leopard comes closer to being released, I am wondering if this software will be able to be used with the new operating system and how long will it take to develop it much less fix it for the current problems that has arisen. SigAlert Traffic Maps Widget | May 9 2009 |
ARCHMISSION The old version used to be able to display the info from the diamonds. I cannot get that list of information to show like it does at Sigalert.com or the previous version before 2.0. Please try to include this in a future version. It was helpful information. (Version 2.0.2)

OmniPlan | Jul 27 2006 |
ARCHMISSION I find everyones arguement concerning price a little disheartening. Amazon Price for MS Project is "Used from $175", new $509.99, List $599.99. AEC Fast Track Schedule 9, New $349, upgrade, $149. Merlin New $185 (w/ exchange rate). I own a copy of AEC and was going to upgrade, but I always did not like the interface and the graphics were not any better than MS Project. With Omniplan coming out with this software, I am willing to pay the cost of my upgrade and even look at buying a bundle if they do that with Omni Outliner and Omni Grapple. The first thing I tried when downloading this was taking a semi-complicated MS Project File and open it. Not one problem opening it and saving it. Good Work Omni and I understand that it is a Beta.
