APPLE CODER Another user of NetFinder before the OS10 days and have used it everyday. I too have tried many ftp clients including the "popular ones" as they say, and I just find it simple and easy. As for the comment about how long it has been that it has been updated. WHO SAYS an app has to be updated every week to be the best. I look at it as Netfinder was coded right the first time. Netfinder may not have some features, but I bought it years ago and it has worked for me, and I tell all my new web designers to get it.

APPLE CODER He has a point.. For $20 for a journal / diary program that looks like it came from the windows world, I am not likely to purchase, although I have not ried it. I am sure it is an awesome program, but looks mean quite a bit as well. (Version 1.3)

APPLE CODER I have used this for 4 years now and it is on all my Macs (5) and I have 23 people that I got to use it. They all love it as I do. Made life much easier, and I have had no trouble contacting them, and I have needed a better habit to use, this is it. Does more than I use it for. (Version 3.2.3)

APPLE CODER Have not tired it nor do I have the need. The best Genealogy program already exists called Reunion, look for it. I understand the need for competition and some people might want other gui controls or features, but Reunion has been doing it for a long time and the "windows world" wants it, but it is only for Mac, so some applications should be the only application for a particular need. BOB_TM Reunion is still PPC/Rosetta only and Reunion 9 (which will probably be universal) is still not released. Last update to the Reunion 8 program is abt. 20 months ago. It might be advisable for non-addicted Intel users to consider a another application. (Version 2.11)

MONDELE To say that we should limit our choices to what is already available is just plain silly. I own Reunion v. 6. It was a great program, and I'm sure the new versions are nice as well, though the interface doesn't seem to have been updated in a long time. That said, Leister Productions doesn't seem to be too interested in users of old versions. There are several new horses in the race with prices comfortably close to Leister's upgrade price. The most impressive I've seen are Heredis and Mac Family Tree. I'm glad to have choices. Competition may someday encourage Leister to speed up version updates and provide some more attractive options for those who bought a while ago. Genealogy Pro hasn't impressed me so far as one of the best, but having a whole stable of genealogy programs out there will no doubt encourage improvement and further development. (Version 2.2)

APPLE CODER Unsure of what you people mean by swapping files, I have never had that need, so $20 for something that I have two apps that do it for free, not worth it. I am sure it is a decent app, but the free one's are not giving me troubles. (Version 3.2.1)

APPLE CODER Only using the demo version and not liking the windows look and feel of this app, THIS is the only app out of 3 I have tried that HAS actually DONE WHAT I WANT and when I want. So what does one do about that? It has worked perfect with the Epson r220. I guess I am getting this one. But it sure looks ugly, but looks are deceiving. (Version 4.0pr)

APPLE CODER Using only the demo copy, I gave up after 15 minutes of trying to print a test. Two other apps I tried had it printed in under 5. This is not an intuitive program. Too many buttons that work with iLife need to have a pref to remove them if one does not use iLife, iPhoto, and so forth. I was really hoping this would do what I wanted, but it was frustrating to use. (Version 3.1)

APPLE CODER Only using the demo copy, I got a test print going in under 5 minutes--great; however, I am unable to remove the border from the outside edge and inside edge when it prints using the Epson r220 printer. A different application prints onto the whole test disc. Another application, I gave up after 15 minutes to print a test. Fix the bleeding on the print, and print FULL like it says, and this is a winner. (Version 1.0.5)

APPLE CODER I have not used this one before, but the screen shot looks rather plain. I use another stock application, which I would love to mention, but would not be very nice for me to do, and it has separate windows for each stock you enter with all the information. Yes features and workability are important, but so is aesthetics, and in a day and age of OS 10.3 - 10.4, things have no reason looking plain--except the command line. (Version 1.2.1)

CURLYPAWS I would rather you tried the program before reviewing it! Version 2 adds a new graphical appearance along with a lot of extra functionality. Please give the demo a try - you may well find that you like it. (Version 2.1)
