I didn't think the lack of support documentation would be a problem. Well, it is, as the program beachballs every time I try to set up a profile. So I'm out of commission until Support gets back to me. I'm worried, because I've heard that MacSpeech's support is mediocre at best. We'll see... |

Well, I've been waiting for this for a long time so I can play iSketch again. Alas, it looks like the new version doesn't interpret others' sketches properly. all lines are at a 45'' angle and make no sense. when I sketch it's all hunky-dory. Suspect it has something to do with the new APIs for 11 and the lack of inclusion of the APIs from 10. Sigh. PS: I have the full version, so I don't think that's the issue... |

Looks like a good program. I'm just wondering what distinguishes it from Sogudi. |

The package installs a replacement /etc/hosts file (/etc is an invisible directory with UNIX system files and the like). The replacement file basically redirects certain domain names (associated with advertisements) to a localhost address, with the ultimate result being that the ads that the webpage is trying to load are not found when your browser looks for them on your local machine. it's a low-level hack. I haven't tried it, so I can't say how well it works, but for now, I'll stick to either PithHelmet or SafariBlock |

Such an interesting idea for an app. the videocast makes it look really good for photo management (I'm using shoebox similarly at present). Curious about what others don't like... |

does it? a senior member of a criminal gang...an easily defeated foe in Super Mario Bros... It's just sort of nonsensical to me. Is there an offensive meaning I'm not aware of? |

I take that back. my computer was having trouble and i attributed VolSpace's failure to open on its age, not my wacky computer. anyhow, I've made it available on my website. http://homepage.mac.com/eyemac/.Public/VolSpace.zip lemme know if this fails to work. |

If it makes you feel any better, I have a copy of VolSpace lying around, but it crashes on launch. |

It seems this is one of those browsers that requires you to enter a complete web address, http:// and all. |

My guess is that the issues that it addresses only crop up when running X11 on PowerPC architecture. I know little, though, so this is just a theory. |

A wonderfully addictive game. It did something funky on me once, causing me to have to reinstall, but it's been golden ever since. Gameplay is nostalgic bliss. One thing, though. Sometimes I want to listen to other things on my computer while I play, but I see no way to adjust the volume / turn off sound. Alas. |

Try BwanaDik 1.5 for Mac OS X 10.3 or later. It's in the "Related Links" section. |

Seems something broke in tiger and saving is now no longer an option. Bummer. It's a pretty cool program. anyone know of any other good comic collection software? (it'd be nice if there were any with good web sources, or if book-cataloguing software allowed for comics entry. |

I've been following this labor of love since the beginning. Yes, the development is slower than on most apps, but damn does it have some cool features. And the icon! The cute little icon! Bottom line, this is not your average web browser. yes, a lot of it is still carried over from OS 9 (which i still miss from time to time), and yes, the development is awfully slow, but Mr. Klauss (Herr Klauss?) is a one-man operation building a web browser from the ground up. For this fact alone, he gets my kudos and support. No, it's not the most full-featured web browser out there, but I still look forward to every point release with great anticipation. |

An interesting feature set. Definitely a good start. Certainly not as full-featured as something like Booxter or Delicious Library, but has a few features that are both interesting (author quotes) and useful (bibliography) that are lacking in others. The most pressing issue here for me is importing my collection of 56 books, which would be a pain to search for one by one. Also, the Save functionality doesn't seem to work. But again I say excellent start and I look forward to seeing where this app goes. |

I just wanted everyone to know that I solved the problem. There appears to be some sort of incompatibility between SurfRabbit and Minuteur. Uninstalling SurfRabbit solved the problem. |

I love Minuteur. It's the best egg timer out there. But this last version seems to come with incomplete documentation (just a 1-question FAQ) and crashes on launch, whereas all the other versions have worked swimmingly. |
