ALFRED KAIDA  Thanks Mr. Lemke,

I use it on my old Powerbook G3 while I'm on the road.

If you work on X the whole day, OS 9 is very nice to use from time to time.

Thank you for supporting GraphicConverter Classic in these X-days.

ALFRED KAIDA  @ JOHN LAU "Great software, i use UnRARX before but it can't expand .sit format. Great for Unarchiver!"

Well unRARX is called Un_RAR_X not un_SIT_x.

Maybe this suggestion helps you...

UnRARX is the best tool for Rar-archives until now.

**...

ALFRED KAIDA  I have big problems with The Unarchiver and password-protected and/or segmented rar-archives.

The Unarchiver crashes stalls freezes on these.

Has ANYBODY using The Unarchiver had success with this kind of files or any other password-protected or segmented filetypes?

If it doesn't work, why not state that clearly in the description, this is not the stated wonder app, it's crap.

As for now The Unarchiver is just waste of time to the most users, it just doesn't support the modern and now often used archive types.

The Unarchiver, - what for?

Don't spend time downloading this, you will regret it if you expect a working app.

LEO KUZNETSOV  I am author of Zipeg. I would be most curious if you can unpack the same encrypted/multipart file with Zipeg application. If you still have trouble please let me know via Zipeg website support page. Thanks

TOXICTHREE  I have the same problem, but it doesn't freeze, just gives me one of two different "not possible"-type error notes. I use unRAR for files with a password, which works just fine but is a little less user-friendly. I really do wish that Unarchiver could handle those, though. It's much easier to use, and it does ASK for a password!
