Safari Cookies
Oct 21 2009

ADRIANBOLT  You're right. Thanks!

SafariBlock is at http://code.google.com/p/safariblock/ which doesn't mention fsbsoftware.com. And fsbsoftware.com makes no mention of SafariBlock so I hadn't connected the two. Thanks again for solving the puzzle.

Safari Cookies
Oct 20 2009

ADRIANBOLT  It lists two cookies for fsbsoftware.com. The oddity is that I can clear the cache, history, and cookies, quit Safari and restart, but without visiting any websites the fsbsoftware.com cookies reappear. They're more pernicious than google's!

I've mentioned it to sweetproductions, but any ideas and comments would be gratefully received.

ADRIANBOLT  A shame that, as it would make it more attractive to me.

Come to that, making it a more generalised script handler would be better still.

ADRIANBOLT  Classic is being phased out.

It also runs on Intel and will transition to OS X this year (it's been slow because there's a vast amount of work required).

ADRIANBOLT  The Glims developers should be more professional.

Their attitude puts me off even considering Glims.

ADRIANBOLT  It looks amazing. As well as performance art there are several other uses. Perhaps you could mention, for example, animating title sequences at the beginning of your description, in order to encourage readers to investigate further? And if you had Flash output, it would be good for creating animations for websites.

Springy
Feb 3 2009

ADRIANBOLT  Currently there is no other Mac archiving utility that supports the standard PKWare split zip archives. This means Springy is the ONLY program that does it. It should therefore be obvious that any Mac user needs Springy if they want to use PKWare split zip archives.

ADRIANBOLT  Backpack is easy to use and PackRat makes it even better: a superb job of replicating the features on your Mac so you save time. And the developer is very quick to reply to emails. Highly recommended.

ADRIANBOLT  Thanks for the reply. I'd seen that page and read the "Please Note: Support by email is only available to registered users" and looked elsewhere without success. but you're right, if there's no other option then I should ask my pre-sales question using that address.

Nov 15 2007

ADRIANBOLT  I've just downloaded the newest version and when it checks my partially downloaded torrents it gets it wrong. It is saying the file size is half what it actually is. What am I supposed to do? Start over again or just wait? This needs fixing urgently because someone else reported this earlier.

FUDRUCKUS  I'm just wondering if it works.

I want to send friend requests to other myspace members friends list. I want to give these potential friends the option to deny my request. but this is a target auidence of skateboard compeditors and if they are serious about skateboarding they will want my news and information.

Will Spyder work for my intentions?

I have a Mac Book Pro

Wibiki
Nov 9 2007

ADRIANBOLT  On http://wibiki.com/whatiswibiki.html, the "what's wibiki" text box has a link "more>>>". That leads to http://wibiki.com/request/WiBiKi?QMLclass=view.adchooser.RecentPosts which has a link "want to learn more about wibiki?". Which takes you back to the first page...

Is this a bug or an approach to learning more that is so minimalist as to be meaningless? I'm not going to configure a DNS without further explanation!

ADRIANBOLT  It isn't like the screenshot, mine is far too cluttered. And on a 2GHz Intel Core Duo iMac it's far too fast to appreciate the effects. Some options for choosing the density and speed would be great!

ADRIANBOLT  Ignore the grousing. It has limited appeal, so what? I cannot use it since I'm in England, but I can still appreciate and thank the developer for producing it.

The idea is an absolute delight!
