Dropcopy uses an Apple technology, Bonjour, to match up computers, and sometimes Bonjour gets stuck, or fails to report changes in the network correctly or promptly. Check out the FAQ linked above for some suggestions!

10BASE-T DEV  Clarification: this app works in conjunction with the online wiki found at http://worldwineswiki.com but can also create and store entries offline to be submitted to the wiki database at a later date. This way you can take the laptop to your cellar, take pictures of labels with your laptop camera, and enter info without being online at that moment.

10BASE-T DEV  We know those 'expired beta' messages are really annoying, but there was no other way during the beta process to insure that we could still change the protocol and have everyone compatible with each other. Note that while the 1.0 release is built upon certain 10.4-only technologies, there is also a version available that is compatible with 10.3...

Finally, to remove the 'expired' notice just delete the old version, or replace it with a new one!

10BASE-T DEV  You can use the exposé feature to reveal the desktop (dropcopy is unaffected by this) and drag and drop your files onto the newly exposed dropzone!
