STORMCHILD Anyone else having problems getting "Boss Mode" to work? The built-in help says to hit Command-E, but that doesn't do anything for me, and there's no menu item for it. Not that I really care or anything. Just wanted to see what it looks like.

SCOTAMIRAN you know, i just bought v2.3.2 and it works fine... i had to get my license key a different way than the game told me to, but i got it from the kava page. before i found it i emailed kava and they did get back to me; and i had read lots of stuff like this saying to stay away, that they dont respond and all theres no support and all this. but theyve been replying to me. they "asked" me to upgrade to v2.4.5, but i dunno if i can upgrade for free. i asked but i havent gotten a reply yet. so we'll see what they say about that. im guessing not... anyone done this succesfully? also ive been looking for more maps for 2.3.2 but not suprisingly im not finding any... any tips? im not a programmer so i cant really make any, just wondering if anyone knows where to DL some perhaps. | |

RWATTS As several other users in various other places have warned KEEP AWAY from this product. As a long time user of this mild diversion i am VERY disappointed with the complete absence of support. I recently purchased a new MBP but in spite of all efforts I cannot transfer my license. The supposed transfer license page doe not work and Kavasoft support NEVER responds to emails.

TREVOR SMITH Update: After repeatedly emailing the developer he finally did get me a license key. It took about a week and he did not offer an explanation, but I am happy to say I can now play and enjoy the game I was so willing to purchase.

PIRX This is the good old board game Risk or Risiko, with some slight modifications. There are Windows and Palm versions from other developers. This one here is way too easy to play in off-line mode, can not match the Palm game.

They've responded to non-of my emails. So i'm out 15 bucks until they send me a key code... anyone else have this type of problem?

MREMAN I'm a long time registered user of IConquer. Long time user of this game. All that came to a tragic end with the download of V2.3.2 The program crashes 100% of the time. Kavasoft has failed to answer 3 emails now. They seem to have pulled all the other versions so there is no going back. Until they debug this version, DON'T upgrade or download. And don't discard your current version!

ANONYMOUS pretty fun, but network play is poop-poor. i only played one game before my trial expired becuase the game hung so many times and needed to be forced quit. sure it is fun, but my money doesnt go to anything that falls apart with cheap-clock-like-irregularity

ANONYMOUS Great game, smoothest OS X "Risk" game I have run across. For those who say the AI is too weak, try making a game with 5 other players, set them all to "Anti-Human." I bet you won't last 3 turns! What truly separates this game from the others is the ability to use multiple maps. Not only classic world map, but you can (freely) download map of the USA, of Europe, as well as some more abstract maps. Version 3.0 promises a Middle Earth map as well. For $12.99, one of the best deals out there. A winner.

SKEPTIC I'd like to see a Middle Earth map, but it seems doubtful since licensing that stuff is mucho difficult. Unofficial Middle Earth stuff has come under legal pressure all over the net!

BENJAMIN KAPLIN Nifty little game. Well done, and sa very stable release. Nice, aqua graphics, along with an easy to use interface make this game one of my favorite time-killers. My only problem with this game is that there is no simple way to lower the challenge level. There are, however; different modes of AI, allowing for different play.

B This game is great! The only negative is that there is no way to slow the game way down when playing against computers...they move so quick, it is hard to pretend that you are mad at one of them for taking your area...the computers should provoke you a little.
