ALANR  For $20 I'd recommend that people also look at Keyboard Maestro. It's a commercial program for the same price with many more features.

ANONYMOUS  The previous review has no bearing on reality.

Maybe the person tried to use it for a few minutes, misunderstood some aspect, and gave up right away. I have used this app for a year ... it is a no brainer ... a snap to setup and edit ... and works flawlessly.

JACK  This app has a lot of flaws. It works only sporadically. In addition it changed a couple of the keys on my keyboard, so that whenever I type "a" it prints "q" and vice-versa. I don't think this is ready for even a beta version. Lots of work to do yet.

ANONYMOUS  Effortless and fun! Very intuitive setup. Easy to program and edit. Thanks for this great app.

Just remember if you have an Ibook to assign from F7 up as the others are already programmed by Apple.

IAN WEIR  Actually, if you check the 'Use the F1-F12 keys to control software features' box in the keyboard section of keyboard and mouse, you can use all the F keys.

To access the hardware controlls, just hold down funtion and hit the same F key you normally would.
