AZPEDR  I already figured this software was a nono when I kept seeing over and over again that the developer must've failed his/her high school english classes...

Even after you try to uninstall it there are processes that you need to manually stop with Activity Monitor or the Terminal. Save yourself 20 minutes of your life that you'll never get back and find another program...

RMONROE  BEWARE OF THIS SOFTWARE! Here's my experience with this software and the Japanese company, Maki Enterprises, that makes it. I downloaded the trial version. It worked like the company said so I decided to buy the full version. After the purchase and BEFORE getting the download code, my son showed me how to go around this software in just two keystrokes! Before I could contact Maki Enterprises about canceling my order, the email came with the download code. I checked their web site about their return policy, and it seemed "returnable" because I had not downloaded the full version so I had not "opened" it. BEWARE! Their sales policy web page is misleading. I emailed Maki Enterprises, and they are refusing to refund my money even though I have not downloaded the full version. They say by downloading the trial version you have "opened" the full version software and cannot return it. Not only does the product not work, but you can't return it! DO NOT BUY. It's a waste of money. To top it off, it was nearly impossible to remove the trial version! I will never deal with this company again.

MACONNECT  I've just spent 30min on phone to explain someone how to completely remove this crap.

The mac was very slow and there was like 10 deamons running and eating the CPU time.

He was completely unable to connect to MSN, in spite on the fact that the filtering WAS TURNED OFF.

Do not install this. Wasn't worth the 14 days trial.

SW_REVIEWER  This could be a great app BUT this app was installed by me Admin and when logging into another user space it works fine. When logging into another user space from cold, Kids GoGoGo is ineffective even when included as a startup item.

I have paid for my serial number after trialling but unfortunately this only came to light afterwards. The 1 second delay before displaying the filter screen bug was another issue I had noticed but didnt realise it could also disable the app if the scroll bar could be grabbed in time

GERALD  Excellent program. Just keeps getting better all the time. Keep up the good work! Originally there was a delay problem but that seems to be much better now. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone who needs filtering for their family. Some sites get falsely filtered but it is relatively easy for the administrator to exclude sites that are ok.

HAPPY TEEN, ANGRY PARENT  In the two second delay between the site being displayed and the filter kicking in, if you manage to grab the scroll bar then the filter doesn't come on. If you keep it help down for about another 2 minuits you can let go and it won't work at all. This almost always happens on Safari and most of the time on IE. Havn't tried on firefox etc.

RICHARD  Definitely don't use it on OS10.3.X. After installing it wouldn't open and said it wasn't installed. It WAS installed and it has placed some very undesirable unix apps at root level which slow the launch and system performance - hopefully nothing worse. The uninstaller is only available from within the open app (which doesn't open). Invisible files can only be trashed with 3rd party apps. An unpleasant and time wasting experience. Hopefully I have found and deleted all the apps and files it has installed.

MIKE  I had MANY problems getting it to work with 3 "users" on my box. The program worked just fine if all users are given admin privledges. Obviously this is not right. After way too many emails with the developers and way too much time spent trying all of the crazy things they had me do, NOTHING worked to fix the problem. I got a refund quite quickly. After playing with it some more I found that if I gave all users admin capabilities, I deleted the user prefs for all users and checked the box to ignore user prefs and reverting the "Admin's" back to users, IT FINALLY WORKED!

TRIAL MEMBER  Works well to block sites but not until after a 1 to 2 second delay after opening the porn sites. Seems pointless when many sites show sex on their home pages. I can't find anything else for OSX, though, so it's better than nothing. It should be freeware until they can fix this bug.

ANONYMOUS  My teen was easily able to defeat the application blocking feature of this software. If the application opens with a dialog box, it stays on the screen long enough for a fast kid to launch the application. I didn't try, but I suspect that might make the Internet lockout susceptible if, for example, one is using Navigator opening with profile manager.
