ANON BUD  Interesting.

I can change the preferences but am unable to do anything else! I can't add birthdays, can't open a new birthday list, can't import a text file, etc. Nothing happens! There's a major glitch with this app.

ANON BUD  I've actually got hundreds of birthdays in address book! The problem is that there is some glitch in the app that won't even let me open/see the birthday list!

EARTHLINGSOFT  There has been a bug with anniversaries when running on 10.4 which has been fixed in GeburtstagsChecker 1.7.1. (Please report issues with our software directly to earthlingsoft as we read our e-mails much more regularly than MU comments.)

IDJSTER  One of the most practical and useful apps that I own, GeburtstagsChecker, despite its unwieldy moniker, is an elegant, stable and absolute necessity in my daily use. I've never had one moment of trouble from the app and I've used it for years. Great work, great application and great price. You can't beat it!

FOYAN  Many thanks and congrats for this UB release.

Great app working nicely !

You allowed me to avoid tons of reproaches, since I always forget the dates of the birthdays.

In the French localization it should be better to write :

- File Menu : Nouvel anniversaire, instead of "Nouveau"

- List / last column : Verrouillé, instead of "Vérouillé".

Imo, at least...

AET  Excellent freeware birthday tracker with address book integration. Just recently saw realized it and moved Geb's birthdays to the Address Book, then used an applescript from there to schedule e-mail alarms for them all via iCal.

I did find a bug, though - after moving all birthdays from GeburtstagsChecker into Address Book I noticed that the app no longer announced any birthdays that had recently passed, only those yet upcoming.

The announcement window does not stick where nudged. Yes, which corner it sits in is controlled via Preferences. But I like to tuck it all the way against the screen, not buggered by a couple pixels. I'd also like a way to have the Birthday List window show on launch. I always have to open the app, then hit command-2 to summon it.
