PORTHOS Does anybody remember R/C Stuntcopter on the Playstation? that was good and reminds me of this simulator. Except this one is pants. Its fun for the first 2 minutes then the "WHIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" sound of the propellers gets to much to bare and you really have to turn your speakers right down. I am sure there is an option to turn the sound off but finding it while its whirring its very annoying. It really does not run that well either, even though it looks very simple I get about 10 fps on a geforce 4 ti 4600. I have also had the first beta version when it was realeased a while back and thought it could possibly get better....but if this is close to the Official 1.0 release..........oh dear. Still, it is fun and I personally have no idea how to make a game...so well done on that part, but it needs alot more thought before it becomes an official version. Another thing.........if this is a simulator.....how comes you can slam it into the floor at xx mph and have no damage?? it just resets. I thought simulators where about realism? Still, good set of features and configurable options......a Helicopter cam view would have done nicely.
