CABRON Simply as already said: my menu bar becomes transparent now on unsupported hardware without any performance issues. This accidentally ultra feature could be part of an extra haxie. And about the custom font themes I'll wait too for a better usage of this one for the next versions. (Version 2.1.4b1)

MEAGAIN Great job Unsanity! This gives me my transparent menu bar back on my unsupported flashed Radeon 9200! Apple System Profiler says "Core Image: Software" but there at the top of the screen is that beauty from the Leopard betasÂ… I've wondered about ASP saying "software" rather than "not supported" and finally that mystery is solved! There's no way I'll find a Radeon 9600 or 9800 for $10 so this is one Haxie that is definitely worth paying for. Four stars from me and five when the Theme Font feature works the same as it does in Tiger. (i.e. Enabling Custom Theme Font but not selecting one causes the default Lucida font to be rendered much better) (Version 2.1.4b1)

GRYPHONENT Nice to see Unsanity return to life... but is there any app that doesn't crash under Leopard with the new haxies installed? (Version 2.1.4b1)

SPLUNK23 Finder, Safari, Preview, Apple System Profiler and Disk Utility all seemed to work. Then I rebooted into Tiger but I don't see any reason for other Apps not to work either. (Version 2.1.4b1)

RADDLE Yes. WindowShade working fine on my two machines (one intel, one not) running a wide variety of software. FontCard good except for an apparent conflict with FontExplorer under Intel. (Version 2.1.4b1)

APIKOROS I'm using Unsanity's FruitMenu and MenuMaster (and APE, of course), plus the ICeCoffEE and SmartScroll haxies, with OS 10.5.4, on a 2006 Intel Core Duo iMac... and nothing crashes. (Version 2.1.4)

FFASS Welcome back!! I use Silk to change my Mac's default font from that fugly Lucida Grande to plain 'ol Arial, a clean easy-to-read font. This update works has worked fine for me so far under 10.5 on my Mac Pro - no crashing or weird behavior. (Version 2.1.4b1)

ANONYMOUS Woo Hoo. Works with Tiger. We're back in business. Great app - simply a necessity if you're an Appleworks user. Since Tiger, I've been going mad with TextEdit and even Word, so to be able to use Appleworks with smooth, readable text again is life saving. (Version 2.1)

ANONYMOUS Unfortunately, if you have more than one type of App installed, ie. Filemaker Pro, it doesn't add the proper one to the application list. Same problems with Quickbooks Pro 6 adding Quickbooks Pro 2005 Mac to the list instead. (Version 2.1)

BYEBYEBUSHHOLE Silk and 10.3, at least on my install, didn't like each other at all. I run a pretty tight ship, and so I'm nearly certain it was SILK causing the prop. This isn't to discourage people from trying it. It's to alert others who may have the same experience I did. I use SHAPESHIFTER, another Haxie from these guys, and it works FINE. (Version 2.0.5)

ROSYNA ROCKS! Anything, and I mean anything, from Unsanity Rocks the House! This is no exception. Unsanity has been the lead locomotive in the Panther update route. Way to go Rosyna! (Version 2.0.4)

BURAN I'd pay $50 for functional versions of ALL of the haxies... with an upgrade guarantee of, say, three months. (Version 2.0.1)

OS X HAXIE I have never had an issue with Unsanity. It is a collaboration of developers who have always provided me with "honest" feedback. They even have their own forum where anyone can participate. The fact that Silk is no longer free was discussed at this forum before 2.0 was ever released. I don't mind supporting Unsanity nor paying the $10 per haxie. Yes, it can add up, but so do the improvements their products bring to OS X. You get a discount if you purchase more than on haxie. However, beyond all of this Silk 2.0 does so much more than Silk 1.1 that its in a different league. Well worth for me. They allow you a fifteen day free trial period so you can decide. JIMW Silk 2.0 on initial examination looks like it has some nice additional features but I do have some concerns about it. - Cost: It is no longer free but $10. The fact that it is no longer free is not of as much concern as the fact that it is priced separately at $10. It seems as though this company has a habit of producing product will a single function and pricing them separately. If you were interested in a number of the companies products, buying them this way would boost the cost towards the $100 level. That is a lot of money to pay for a half a dozen or so utilities. Why not a utility with a number of functions, perhaps as an installer that is fairly priced at $20-$40. I just don't like being $.50 and dollared. They may be likeable utilities but price out individually for what you spend vs functionaly, I think they are expensive. - Company Info: The company is privately owned and "based in Utah." Their website gives no phone numbers or mailing addresses, other than email. I would certainly be more confortable in giving them my money if I had a real physical address and phone number. What are they trying to hide from? How do I know that it is not a "here today, take my money, gone tommorrow" company? - What is going to happen when the shortly due new OS X update is released? Will their utilities work; will they work; will they be necessary or useful? If they don't work will I be required to spend some more money to get them to work? None of this is addressed on their website. No upgrade policies, time period guarantees, etc. What if the product becomes useless 30-60 days after I buy it or is withdrawn from sale? Can I get my money back? What happens if this version "blows up" like the similar previous one that got released and then withdrawn after it "blew up." That one was free. However it has taken months since then for this version. What happens to my payment if this happens to follow the same route? Thank you for your kind offer to upgrade and pay for a new version with extra features, but I think that I will respectively decline it, and what until it is field tested and the next verson of Mac OS X is released. Then I will make my decision. In the meantime I will continue to use the 1.1 version without the extra features but that I know works with my current system and is stable. (Version 2.0)

DAVIDCRICKETT Whoa! This one rocks! :-) Try it and see real font smoothing in AppleWorks 6, just like Word, but without slowing AW down! And Hogwasher finally gets quartz rendering in it's message windows, too. Whoa! (Version 1.1)
