TIGERANDYX9  I have been using PT from a long time ago and now using version 2.6.5 which is just great. All the problems mentioned have dissapeared and now have a very stable and useful product. I keep both real as well as potential portafolios and use several tickers to develop different perceptions.

LCMSLUTHERAN   This is an email to PT from this morning. Their product crashes when I try to modify the content of the ticker by clicking the "content" button of the ticker modify window. This is a serious bug. They choose not to fix it or respond to my emails.

I have sent both a crash report and a bug report and have not had a reply about either. Did you get them? Is there any response to them? Do you care?

ANONYMOUS  Why not use an RSS ticker (like Tickershock or NewsTicker, both here on MU) and the following RSS feed URL:

http://www.xanadb.com/ticker/YHOO+GOOG

(replace YHOO and GOOG with your own stocks separated by a + sign).

Bingo: stocks in a scrolling ticker on your desktop. That's a much cheaper solution, IMHO.

GEORGE HARVEY  I have used PowerTicker since it first became available, and think that it is one of the handiest, most useful little programs that I use nearly every day. It has been stable and fast on my Mac G4 with OS X 10.2.6
